The iconic Sycamore Gap Tree has been felled by someone overnight. To say am shocked is an understatement!!

I just don't understand in what world is this okay?? What is the purpose behind it? What's the fun?
Just don't get it how some people think nowdays.

It was a truly iconic spot. This image is from when I last visited it few years ago. Broad daylight and quite a crowd so I used a ND filter and long exposure to blur the movements of people while having the tree firm and steady in the centre of my frame.

That was really what was so symbolic about the spot. The tree had witnessed probably thousands of people around itself while standing firm and tall and the only constant factor amongst a changing scene. Sadly it's all in the past now.

There is something so magical about the sight of Eiffel Tower at night that it is hard to exactly describe it.
I guess you just have to be there to witness it - take it all in.
A true engineering marvel which decides to sparkle every hour brightly in the darkness of the night sky!

All it needs is few hours of snow and this country loses it 😃
Nevertheless can't complain as it gives perfect snowscape scenes like these !!

Walk around the local woodlands. Was a challenge to frame and shoot as the snow was quickly turning into rain !

There is something about snow capped mountains which enthrals almost everyone. Any range of mountains have an aura of grandness with them but especially the ones with snow on top transform the landscape completely.
The untouched snow with it's smooth white surface is extremely pleasing to the eye and the rugged nature of the mountains bring a stark contrast to the scene.
