Scattered thunderstorms are likely to develop over N + E England and E + NE Scotland, capable of producing large hail to 3cm in diameter, wind gusts of 40-60mph and perhaps an isolated tornado.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms also likely in Ireland/Northern Ireland, spreading across the Irish Sea later.
