Huntingdons new Shell Fuel Filling Station and Waitrose outlet is progressing well as you can see from the drone shots I got this afternoon.

The Williams Build project is still on target for completion early to mid December with the pumps canopy very nearly complete with the distinctive yellow and red colour scheme and solar panels. The pumps and EV chargers are yet to be installed.

The kiosk has been tiled and is currently being shop fitted with yet more solar panels due to be installed on its roof starting tomorrow.

Check back in a couple of weeks when I plan to have yet more progress shots.

Here is a Birds Eye view visual update on the progress of the new Shell Fuel Filling Station and Waitrose outlet in Huntingdon.

Work is progressing well and on target for an early December opening with the main structure of the shop and kiosk now complete and the metal framework of the canopy over the pumps and the safety netting installed yesterday. Tomorrow, (Thursday) will see the start of the covering including solar panels to that canopy and also the shop.

On Monday 28th October the tiling in the shop will commence followed immediately by the rapid shop fit out.

Our drone shots show the fantastic progress, the shop and kiosk structure and the steelwork for the pumps canopy. While I was there the guys were building a brick wall around the tanker riser inlets and vents and were brushing a non skid texture onto the new concrete slabs they'd just laid.

Now the rain has stopped after several days of downpours I’ve had the drone up to document the river levels and flooding as this is the highest I’ve ever seen in the 14 years I’ve lived here. Please follow my page for more drone videos.

Saturday and a day off work so we went to explore the flooding and burst river bank of the River Ouzel as it flows through Milton Keynes between the Poplar Plantation and Willen Lake.

I hope you enjoy the video shot with a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 vlogging camera, a DJI Mini 3 Pro drone and edited with iMovie on a MacBook Pro.

The new Shell fuel station and Waitrose outlet on the A141 near Stukeley Meadows is progressing well and is on target for handover from the contractors Williams Build on December the 9th.

TC Harrison will have the area with the cars in it currently as a forecourt and the fuel station will be beside it with a one way system, in and out.

As well as the drone progress shots I have included a visual of the Waitrose shop showing the entrance on the left, toilets directly ahead, retail in the centre with a Deli bakery and tills over on the right had side. There will be an ATM outside to the right also and 4 EV charging points.

Well yesterdays slight detour and 20 minutes flying the drone was certainly fruitful.

The BBC used a couple of my video clips last night, (23.09.24) on the main six o'clock news and today an international news agency, www.storyful.com have taken the video clips too for worldwide and exclusive distribution.

I've been out with the drone again today documenting the re build of my local Shell Fuel Filling Station and Waitrose store so those pictures later.
