The Death star round-about in Hugglescote, is a nod of the hat to the local area that use to make a lot of star wars toys between 1978 and 1985 at Palitoy, Coalville, where they also used to make Action man figures as well.

Here is a map of a roof that was recently photographed, 170 photos to include all tiles gutters and 2nd floor windows. No need for expensive and timely scaffolding to be erected.

Well normally traffic islands are drab and boring, but a local traffic island (Hugglescote- Coalville) has tipped its hat to a local toy manufacturer that used to operate out of Coalville, a company by the name of Palitoy, who as well as making numerous toys were also involved in making star wars action figures - The Death Star
