Linda & Norman ❤️❤️ 24th June "The Cauld"

On one of the hottest days of the year the hottest couple in Innerleithen got hitched up at The Cauld. It was a first for me and probably the first wedding at this beautiful scenic spot.

Rhona and Callum ❤️ "The Mclouds" 22nd June, Brig o' Doon.

A new venue for me, and wow, I'm keen to get back there. Not gonna lie, I was a bit stressed as I always try to get to a venue before a wedding to check it out. No need, though - the staff were amazing, and it runs like clockwork. The ceremonial hall is just awesome, and the gardens are immaculate. Five years ago, I photographed Rhona's brother Fraser's wedding, and she thought I did a great job, so she though it was a no brainer to hire me 🙏🏻❤️.

The day started with a lazy drizzle of rain and ended up in glorious late afternoon sun, to be honest a perfect Scottish wedding day. Loads of happy tears and laughter, the best wedding day you can have.

Thank you for trusting in me to capture your day, it was an absolute pleasure and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Something a bit different to the usual wedding photos. A 360 of my home town Innerleithen, the picture quality of this wee Mavic mini 5 pro is amazing. This was shot last night, the light was really nice but with a gusty westerly wind it coped well.

Tabitha and Jerry ❤️ 5th May Traquair House

What a fantastic day we had, yes it was cold 🥶 and yes we had rain in the forcast, but we got lucky and had the outdoor ceremony they wanted. Bonny the ring bearer stole the show for me. After the lovely ceremony, drinks and canopies were had but the north east wind forced everybody inside for a warm up. Tabby and Jerry braved the cold for a few photos around the house and gardens before heading back for a warm by the fire.

Part 2 of going for a walk with a 100 - 500mm lens. I feel it's got a place in my go to lenses as I always see interesting things/light that are in the distance. It also gives a competely different view point rather than the normal wider landscape lens.

Don't you just love this time of year! The vibrant colours of the trees coming alive, the grass on the valley floor green again. I never get tired of the view from Caerlee hill, I see it nearly every morning walking the dog and it changes every walk ❤️

Petra and Martin ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 22nd April Cringletie, Peebles

Petra and Martin eloped from down south in Exeter to the beautiful Cringletie to get wed. They were blessed with the best Scottish sunshine we've had this year (be nice if they brought it back lol ) We had a fantastic relaxed day, just what they wanted, no fuss just the two of them enjoying the moment.

Katie and Matthew ❤️ 11th April Kippilaw House

K&M chose the wonderful Kippilaw house to get wed with their closest family and friends. We had a beautiful chilled out day, loads of laughter and some emotional tears, as always. Don't be fooled by the nice bright and sunny conditions, it was a bitterly cold wind blowing 🥶 We braved the cold and they had a beautiful humanist ceremony held out front of the house with Robbie the celebrant.

Garry and Inna ❤️ 26th March Cringletie, Peebles

Garry and Inna travelled down from Inverness with their best mates and cute pups for a lovely intimate wedding at Cringletie House. Inna and the team at Cringletie planned and executed the perfect day, even the weather played ball and didn't rain till later in the day.
