Waterside Hide & Allday Ospreys

Regarding the goshawk visiting the Hide, now she’s been coming for around 3 months and there’s no guarantee you’re going to get a visit but chances are real!
Obviously making noise etc in the Hide has an impact and the last thing I want is for the goshawk to feel the Hide is a threat! This would mean it would stay away!
There’s been photographers visited without silent shooting functions eg DSLRs and have got great visits by her! As long as she’s settled and feeding before you start taking shots (in small bursts) for non silent cameras it’s worked well!
When photographers have followed the guidance there’s a great chance you’ll not only get great images but also experience a beautiful bird rarely seen in the wild, creating a memory you’ll not forget, having a goshawk look back at you through the viewfinder!

So get in touch if you would like a session, there’s also tonnes of other beasties to photograph, red squirrels, sparrowhawk and buzzard to name a few! 🦅🐿️❤️

Incredible night in the Hide, sparrowhawk appeared then guess who appears, Mrs Gos!!, then the cat and mouse started with the buzzards! After 4 days away she’s back with a bang! She finished the partridge then pushed the buzzard off the pheasant !

Really think this young buzzard is such a stunning bird, she loves this perch and a wee pose! Did some adjustments to the squirrel jumps so should be easier to follow them on the jump! On the lookout for new perches to mix it up for Autumn! 🍁🍂🥮

Goshawk hasn’t visited 4 days now! Hope she’s catching plenty food

Great image from Lee who visited last weekend, lots happening at the woodland Hide at the moment as the leaves start to fall and the colours turn 🦅❤️🐿️ good availability

Had a fab time in the hide over Sunday night and Monday through the day and although the Goshawk didn't show this beautiful lady did aswell as buzzards red squirrels and other various wildlife what a fantastic little bit of paradise Norman has here I will definitely be back in the not too distant future even if it is a 5 hour drive 😀

Was delighted to see the male goshawk return tonight, luckily i was setting up in the Hide when he appeared! He is about 1/3 smaller than the female and he fled when the buzzards appeared, a totally different beast to the female! She would have stood her ground like last night! She actually fed about 1hr before the male appeared at 5pm!

Hopefully we may see them together at some point!

Glad I caught him fly off and he glanced at the lens following him away 🦅❤️ good availability

Tonight 3 buzzards attacked Mrs Gos and still she finished her partridge! Tonight’s guests left 20 mins before this kicked off!
First time she’s fed properly at the Hide for a couple days! The sparrowhawk came in first but never settled must of seen the gos in a tree as it fled 4 times, each time trying to get the food away!
Ps I need a better remote camera as the sound Is poor as is the picture quality.

Fine to have Dale and Lee in the woodland Hide after a long drive, Mrs Gos unfortunately didn’t present herself for them, but they got some great images of the other players! 🐿️🦅🔥 See you again guys your welcome anytime
