Where in Scotland can you sit, take a moment, and gaze across the sea at the ruins of a castle that has stood for over 700 years?
Perched dramatically on the cliffs of the Moray Firth, Findlater Castle dates back to the 13th century. Once home to the powerful Earls of Findlater, its weathered ruins have witnessed centuries of Scottish history. More recently, this breathtaking location even found its way onto the big screen, featuring in the Hollywood blockbuster The Odyssey.
Yet despite its incredible past, there's something wonderfully peaceful about this place. The sound of the waves, the endless horizon, and the quiet solitude make it the perfect spot to pause, breathe, and simply take it all in.
Some places don't need words—they just need a moment.
