I'm from Invergordon, a small town on the east coast of the highlands of Scotland. I became more interested in photography around July 2012 after using my mobile phone to take quick snaps of the scenery as I was out running in the hills in my local area and posting them to my running blog page. This was also around the time I met Lorraine (my fiancée) who was doing a HNC in contemporary art and also had a passion for photography. So now we make a great photography team and spend hours and hours travelling around the highlands looking for photo opportunities, always looking for that one shot that makes our days out complete. At the end of the day this is still one of my hobbies/passions and love to share them with you all :)

Photo Dump - This was obviously the first time these two youngsters had been to the feeders as they spent near 2hrs high...

Photo Dump - This was obviously the first time these two youngsters had been to the feeders as they spent near 2hrs high in the tree tops circling around the feed area before eventually plucking up the courage to come down and investigate. Neither of them could figure out how to open the lids but they did spot that I had put out nuts on the ground log to entice the jays and scoffed the lot in double quick time before taking to the trees again. 😂

Todays top 3 from Mama McTufty the 3rd 🤩

Dark clouds and rain make it a lot more challenging but managed to get a few photos at 1/800th of a second were my minimum shutter speed is 1/1000 and normally a lot faster when photographing leaping squirrels.
