When Lauren first got in touch with me, it was less than a month until she and Adam said 'I do'. The couple have been together for 14 years already and have a 3 year old daughter, so didn't want a big wedding and chose an intimate day with their closest friends & family. But as it is, I think they're glad they did decide on some photos to capture the memories in the end...
"Thank you so much for these, we're delighted! You've really captured the joy of the day, and we can't wait to see the rest of them. You made everyone feel at ease on the day, so thank you for that too. I must say the pictures of Emily are just fantastic! I'm so glad we went ahead with professional photos, we will treasure these."
On the day itself, I met Lauren for photos with her parents, little girl and friends in the gloriously sunshiney gardens at the Kingsmills Hotel, before we headed down to the Inverness Archive Centre, where Adam was patiently waiting for his girls.
After the ceremony, the kids reveled in the confetti, whilst I entertained myself setting up Adam's nephews in their very dapper shades (stolen from the adults) and suits as the Bride & Groom's security detail. (Though they didn't stop one determined little confetti-thrower!)
We used the archive centre as a lovey backdrop for family photos (we really are so lucky to have the registrars ceremony space in such a pretty building in Inverness) before everyone decided to head along to Inverness Crazy golf for ice cream. The ever kind & cheerful Gus congratulated the couple and suggested the kids have a free turn at the golf
