Puffin watching at Sumburgh Head last night after a busy day capturing portraits of local artist and UHI student Susan Pearson.

A bit of a bucket list item, and beautiful weather with sunset providing some beautiful pockets of light, when the puffins complied!

Congratulations to the lovely Marie and Alastair, who were married earlier today at Loch Garten.

It was a proper all four seasons in one day kind of weather, with sunshine and showers as conducted their intimate ceremony and snow showers as played the tunes.

πŸ‘€News πŸ‘€

In addition to my sessions offered throughout the Scottish Highlands, I’m delighted to now be able to offer photography sessions in a variety of locations in London.

My working schedule currently has me in London each week, with multiple days flexible to accommodate photography sessions for local clients and international visitors.

London was the city that first awakened my interest in photography, and it’s a privilege to get to be back in the city where my photography career began.

For solo travellers, couples, elopers and families - whatever your plans in travelling to London, it’d be pleasure to capture images for you.

I'm looking for some volunteers who might be available to help me capture some updated London photos - if that might be you or someone you know - please get in touch! πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ“·πŸ’‚β€β™‚οΈ

It was a fitting end to 2025 to be at one of my favourite spots above Loch Ness, welcoming the Fones family on their trip to Scotland, with their dad coming from one of my favourite places - Chattanooga, TN!

Their bravery with the cooler temperatures was rewarded with a rainbow as a backdrop for some family photos.

I've a few more days off before I'm back out with the cameras, with plenty space in the diary for 2026, and beyond.

Wishing you a very Happy New Year for 2026, and all that it holds - here's hoping there's a rainbow over your road. πŸŒˆπŸ“·πŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ ΏπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

If you're stuck for Christmas gift inspiration, family portraits might be the answer

I have a few dates in the New Year still available, with Gift Vouchers also available for a session later in the year when the warmer weather returns.

It was a beautiful dusk to be out with the drone this evening, picking up some images for an upcoming web project.

Inverness Castle is looking fantastic, can't wait to see it fully open.

Also struck by just how compact a city Inverness is, it packs a lot in!

Autumn is officially here - and now that Storm Amy has made her way through, so are the sunnier autumnal days.

Mini Sessions are available throughout the month of October, including the October school holidays.

Mini Sessions are great for smaller family groups or just the kids - a perfect time to update the family photos and have the images ready for Christmas presents for Grandparents and family members - a double win!

Hello October. One of my favourite months to be out capturing images. The weather is a little wild for the next few days, but I'm looking forward to being back out capturing images when the drier days return, and the leaves are crispy underfoot.

I've plenty space still available in my diary over these next couple of months, the perfect time to make the most of the lovely colours.

Mini session dates are also available through the family holidays - get in touch for more info. πŸ‚ πŸ“·

Autumn is also a great time to be out capturing images with some of the couples who travel into Scotland to capture images in the landscape.

Based in Inverness, I'm in close proximity to many of the mot beautiful parts of the country - and it's a real pleasure to get to share some of my favourites landscapes with couples who come to celebrate from all over the world. 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 πŸ“Έ
