I know I'm a few days late, but 2025, what a year!

I left my 20s behind for the big 30 🥳

Travelled to a new country and got to a explore the capital city. A country I would love to go back to 🇱🇺 For anyone who may be interested in going, all public transport (excluding taxis) is free! There are some beautiful sites to see. The zoo isn't big, but there's a great range of animals to see and the playground for kids is massive! And of course, plenty of places to eat that all look delicious!

I got to take my two favourite people to a country that means to much me and my family 🇲🇺 Sunbathing, swimming, sightseeing and of course, all inclusive food, were especially what I needed. I also cannot forget that my daughter got to celebrate her 3rd birthday while we there 🥳 I did try to photograph the sunsets for the first time, they weren't awful, but I know where to improve next time I get the chance 🌅

And of course, we finished off the year with celebrating christmas with our families, but also just spending time as our own little family of 3.

April update:

It's been a long time, but... we went to the zoo! It's definitely not as easy trying to get all the photos you want with a 2 year old in tow, but she loved helping me and I will never say no to a cute little helper.

With the weather getting nicer, a lot more walks and days out are on the cards. We also have a couple of holidays booked for later in the year, and I cannot wait to get away again.

I will post again before the summer is out; hopefully with some holiday snaps too!

July Update:

I took a walk around the new country park on my estate to see how far it's come since last summer. It's looking beautiful and the new playground is looking amazing! I cannot wait to take my daughter to try it out once it's opened. I will be heading back out with my camera this month to get some landscape photos.

The job I had lined up in September has unfortunately been cancelled by the organisers, but I'm hopeful that I will be able to find similar events to photograph in the future.

Apple being Apple, and outdating technology sooner than needed, I had to go printer shopping (I was probably due an update anyway for all the photos I'm going to start printing). It took a while to choose the best one for me, but let's welcome my new HP printer and so far, it's been doing a pretty good job! I've printed off over 50 cards ready to start my Esty page. Just a few more bits to sort out, and I should have page up and running in the near future.

June Update:

We've seen some warmer weather, but of course, it's always on the days I'm working! 😂 However, I did manage to get a good day at the zoo for my daughter to meet Bluey and Bingo. Being a Saturday, I decided it wasn't the best day to take my camera as it was SUPER busy, but definitely next time for some updated animal photos 🐵🦁🐯

I have been working out the best idea for a backdrop for my upcoming event in September - Plain wall, plain sheets, buy one. I'm sure I'll figure something out before September comes around.

I've got a busier month at work this month, but I'll see you at the end of July for my next update.

May Update:

Things have been a bit slow with the all the wet weather, but hopefully June will bring some more sunny days so I can get out on some beautiful walks!

However, as like most of the country, I did manage to capture the Northern Lights from my bedroom window! I'd love to go and see them in Iceland, but this was still such a magical experience.

I have also been experimenting and testing out getting my camera linked to my iMac, and seeing how quick I can get the photos printed ready for an upcoming job. It's not until September, but I'm getting excited already for a new opportunity 😁

As you all may or may not know, I have had to take down my website due to personal reasons. I have been very busy recently - not only do I now have an 18 month old daughter, but I also bought a house a year ago - which has led to me not updating it or my socials as much as I would have liked.

I am setting myself a fairly easy task to try and get back on track. For the rest of the year, I am aiming to do an end of the month update.

Not only this, but by the end of the year, I am hoping to have got an e-shop open to sell prints, cards etc, so keep your eyes peeled!

I am still available for any events you want photographed - weddings, parties, family shoots, or any other event where you want those memories to last. All enquiries will be responded to as soon as possible.

Thank you to those still reading, and I'll see you all at the end of the month for my first update!
