Ironbridge yesterday evening at dusk. Tiny cafes, boutique shops and restaurants line cobbled streets. Sat adjacent to the first cast iron bridge ever constructed, dating back to 1781. It is said to be 'the birthplace of the industrial revolution.' Definitely a place to add to your to visit list while in Shropshire.

Story time: My dad managed to research our family tree back generations and generations over a painstaking amount of time. He tracked down my great great grandfather to when he was stationed here in Malta at Fort St Angelo, Birgu. He fell in love and married my great great grandmother, a Maltese woman living in Birgu. Records state they lived in this very street, which we visited today.

I love this, tracking down family roots and visiting places they would have lived. Embracing my Maltese heritage albeit small. 🇲🇹

Check out this amazing signage original from the 1940s! Krakow's Jewish Quarter (Kazimierz) is absolutely stunning and definitely worth a wander through in the evening. Lined with restaurants and cafes seemingly untouched by time and Krakow's dark past.
