Photo Hub North CIC is a not-for-profit social enterprise, founded in March 2021 by Lisa Holmes, promoting social inclusion.

We facilitate community events, develop sustainable solutions, bring communities together, run workshops, offer studio and darkroom hire, provide photography facilities, and run photography-based health and wellbeing courses. We aim to improve community cohesion, the wellbeing of local people and promote an increased understanding of our shared environment, through engagement with environmentally sustainable, photography-based creative projects available to all.

• Explore Lister Park and map making with Rosie McAndrew🗺

We will be running 2 workshops with Nellie:
Session 1: 11.30 am
Session 2: 1.46 pm

Both sessions are free and will include:
- experience in our camera obscura
- learning about how the caravan is a huge camera 📷
- having a portrait taken 🕺
- being the photographer 📷 and..
- developing a Print in our plant-based eco-darkroom. 🌿🚨

So excited to be getting Nellie the CameraVan back on the road after her holiday at the National Media Museum! 🎉📸

Wow! 🤩 That is all I can say about tonight’s launch of CultureCam: This Is Us.

It was honestly more than I ever could have imagined. 💗

Thank you to everyone who turned up. I’m so sorry if I didn’t get a chance to talk to you. Please know I saw you, and had every intention, it was just so busy.

Thank you also for all your lovely kind comments about the project and my work. It really means so much to me. 🙏

I think I’ll be processing it all for a while, and lots of photos and footage will follow, but now…I need to sleep.

EXHIBITION TIME AT LAST 🎉✨

I’m so proud to finally unveil the portraits from our Bradford 2025 CultureCam project!

Thank you to every single person who stepped in front of Nellie my giant mobile caravan camera — it’s been a privilege to capture you. 🙏

Our launch night is this Thursday and is open to everyone who took part. If you filled out a consent form you should have received an email — if not, drop me a 📧 message at [email protected].

From Friday, you can catch the exhibition at , open to the public.

What a journey this has been — I’ve loved every second 💛📷

We were delighted last weeks to welcome local MP Robbie Moore MP to the Photo Hub.

It was lovely to show him all the work we’ve been doing in the community and he was a great sport letting us take his portrait and be part of our CultureCam project. He even joined us in the caravan’s plant based darkroom and developed his portrait with us.

It’s so great when you’ve got people like this that genuinely want to support local businesses and offer their help 👌

Using the wonderful lyrics of Raye, I just wanted to post this little video explaining why it is taking us sooo long to get your portraits to you. There's a lot to do!!

Join us tomorrow at for a CultureCam workshop celebrating 's Walking Festival. You can meet Nellie the cameravan, learn about our camera obscura and enjoy a walk in the grounds to collect items from nature. We will then take everyone's portraits using the cameravan, with your items foraged from the grounds.

This workshop/walk is for all ages and abilities and is FREE!

Also, as it is the Nation Trust Heritage Weekend, access the the house and gardens of East Riddlesden Hall will be free, so it's a perfect opportunity to explore this stunning location.
