Camera Basics Vol.8: RAW vs JPEG 📸
JPEG files are processed by the camera, so they’re smaller, easier to use and ready to share.
RAW files keep more information, which gives you more room to edit colour, exposure and detail afterwards.
Neither one is better all the time. It depends what you want to do with the photo.
At Exposed Schools of Photography, we break this down properly on our courses, so you know what to use and when.
View upcoming courses on the website, or send us a message if you’re not sure where to start.
