The confetti photo is always a favourite. 🎉💕

Not just because of the joy, the excitement, or the fact that you’re finally married… but because it captures a moment you’ve spent months (sometimes years!) planning for.

What most people don’t see is that wedding photographers aren’t just photographers.

We’re straightening buttonholes, fluffing dresses, fixing veils, keeping an eye on timelines, rounding up family members, calming nerves, carrying bouquets, finding safety pins, and occasionally becoming honorary bridesmaids.

Then, in between all of that, we’re quietly capturing the moments you’ll treasure forever.

And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.

As a photographer, one of the most important things to me is making people feel comfortable, seen and beautiful exactly as they are.

I know being in front of a camera can feel vulnerable. So many of us carry insecurities, body image struggles, or worries about how we’ll look in photos. But the truth is, the people who love you don’t see the things you pick apart about yourself. They see your smile, your laugh, your happiness and your love.

I will always photograph you as you are. I won’t edit you or change the way you look to turn you into someone unrecognisable. My job is to capture real moments and real people, not unrealistic versions of them.

Photos aren’t about perfection. They’re about memories, connection and moments that deserve to be remembered.

I will always do my best to create a relaxed, supportive space where people feel safe to be themselves without pressure to pose a certain way or look “perfect”.

Please be kind to yourselves. 🤍

Winter weddings just hit different ✨

This one at Quex Park was everything you’d want from a cold-weather day, crisp air, soft golden light, and that cosy, wrapped-up kind of feeling that you just don’t get in summer.

There’s something about winter that slows everything down a little. People lean in closer, the hugs last longer, and the whole day feels that bit more intimate. No pressure, no rush… just proper moments.

Proof that you don’t need sunshine for magic 🤍

There’s honestly nothing better than this 🥹

I was at a wedding recently and bumped into a couple whose wedding I photographed a while back… and they told me my photos are on their walls at home 🖤

I can’t even explain how much that means to me. Your wedding day goes by in such a blur, and knowing those moments I captured are now part of your everyday life… the little glances, the big laughs, the in-between bits… that’s everything.

Photos aren’t meant to live on a USB or your phone forever, they deserve to be printed, framed, and seen every single day.

So if you’ve had your gallery for a while and haven’t printed yet… this is your sign 👀

I absolutely LOVE seeing your photos living their best lives on your walls, keep tagging me when you do, it makes my day every time 🫶

Today we’re celebrating all the amazing women who make weddings so special. 🤍

To the mums who’ve been there from the very beginning - helping plan, calming nerves, fixing dresses, and being the first ones on the dance floor.

To the mums-to-be dreaming about the family they’re building.
To the step mums who chose love and became family.
To the dads who’ve taken on both roles and proudly walk their child down the aisle.

And to those who wish they could be mums but haven’t had that chance - we see you too. Days like today can feel complicated, and that matters.

At weddings we see just how powerful those family moments are - the hugs, the proud smiles, the emotional speeches, and the mums who never leave the dance floor. ❤️

However today looks for you, we’re sending love.

Love, laughter, and all your favourite people in one room ✨

The music’s playing, everyone’s clapping along, people are dancing, cheering, and completely caught up in the moment. It’s that mix of fun, energy, and slightly chaotic joy that makes wedding evenings so good.

Because at the end of it all, a wedding isn’t just about the two people getting married. It’s about the people who show up to celebrate them. 🥂

There’s always a moment at every wedding that sums up the whole day.

Not the big planned one… but the tiny, in-between moment. The squeeze of a hand. The laugh that turns into tears. The look across the room that says “we actually did it.”

Those are the moments I’m always watching for. The real ones that happen when you’re busy living your day, not posing for it.

That’s what wedding photography means to me - capturing your story exactly as it unfolds.

If you’re planning your wedding and want photos that feel natural, emotional and completely you, I’d love to hear all about it.

Cass 🤍

YOUR SAY: Would you pay to hire a bridesmaid? 🤔

Believe it or not, some people do, and it can be a very lucrative career option.

Some days I’m stood quietly at the back of a church, camera in hand, watching two people take a breath before they promise each other forever. Other days I’m knee deep in confetti, laughter, chaos and happy tears, and I have this little moment where it hits me just how lucky I really am.

Being a photographer isn’t just a job. It’s being invited into some of the most important days of someone’s life. I get trusted with glances that last half a second, hands squeezing just a little tighter, parents trying not to cry and failing spectacularly. The bits that don’t feel big at the time, but end up meaning everything.

Years from now, when the flowers are long gone and the music has faded, these photographs will still be there. They’ll be pulled out on anniversaries, shown to children and held during quiet moments when someone wants to remember exactly how it felt. And somehow, I get to be the one who preserved that.

I never take that lightly. Every wedding, every couple, every story reminds me that this is a privilege, one I’m endlessly grateful for.
