The Water of Fife I’m Linda, an amateur photographer, sea swimmer and avid snorkeller.

I capture images and videos of the scenery and wildlife along the beautiful Fife coast, on land and in the water.

Some of the cool creatures I found in the shallow water around the rocks at the south end of East Sands, St Andrews 🐟🦀🦐🪼 Flat fish, jellyfish, prawns and more! This is an easy site to explore as you can walk in straight off the beach 🤿

Today's Bench of the Day at the gannet mural at West Braes, Pittenweem. The beautiful mural is one of several painted on the shelter by artist Paco Graff, the gannet being my personal favourite! The bench has spectacular views over Pittenweem tidal pool and across the Forth and is a lovely place to rest while walking the Fife coastal path 😍 🌊🏊

Snorkelling below the ruins of a 15th century Scottish castle 😍 St Andrews Castle sits on a cliff facing the North Sea. It was once the residence of the bishops and archbishops of St Andrews and has been the site of many dramatic historical events that you can learn about in the castle. I entered the water from Castle Sands beach at high tide and it was lovely! 🤿🌞🐟🪼🌊
