So many dads spend years being the one behind the camera. Carrying the bags, fixing little outfits, making everyone laugh, and taking the photos that never quite include them.
That is why these photographs matter so much.
They become proof that Dad was there too. Not just in the background of family life, but right in the middle of it. The cuddles, the smiles, the way little hands hold onto him without even thinking.

Some wedding days are full of big celebrations, and some feel quieter and deeply personal. Sarah and Mark’s day had such a lovely balance of both.
From the walk through the old streets together, to the laughter over coffee, to the small details like their rings and the dogs joining them for photographs, everything about this day felt relaxed and completely true to them. Nothing forced, nothing overdone, just two people enjoying finally being married.
These are always the moments I find myself drawn to as a wedding photographer. The in-between conversations, the calm after the ceremony, the way couples look at each other when they forget the camera is there for a second.

There is something so peaceful about photographing a newborn in those first few weeks. The tiny fingers resting softly on their skin, the sleepy stretches, the way they curl naturally into themselves while the world around them slows down for a little while.
These sessions are never rushed. I keep everything calm and baby-led so there is time for feeds, cuddles, and settling whenever it is needed. My aim is always to create photographs that feel gentle and honest, while making sure parents feel comfortable too.
I love capturing a mix of softly styled portraits alongside the little details that change so quickly. The tiny hands, sleepy expressions, and the way your baby fits perfectly into your arms right now. These are the moments that often mean even more as the years pass.

Those early days with a newborn can feel both beautifully slow and like they are passing far too quickly at the same time.
Tiny fingers curled up against their face, sleepy stretches, the way they fit perfectly into your hands, and those quiet moments where your whole family is adjusting to life with someone new in it. These are the details I always want parents to be able to hold onto.
