Kirkbymoorside Camera Club is a friendly group, keen to promote photography, share ideas and improve through regular meeting, competitions and talks from guest speakers. Join us on Thursday February 15th for a ZOOM talk by award winning wildlife photographer Steve Race, with his talk Life on the Ledge, Bempton Cliffs.
The meeting will open at 7.00pm for a 7.30 start.
Bempton Cliffs is situated on the Yorkshire Coast and from March to September is home to 250,000 breeding seabirds. This talk is about the life and death struggle of these amazing birds and how they bring up their young on the tight cliff ledges on the 400ft white chalk cliffs.
Non-members £5. If you would like to join this meeting as a non-member on Zoom, please message me and I'll send you all the info on how to pay and join the meeting.

At a recent meeting of the Club, it was decided that we should change the way we meet in the future. We will no longer be meeting at the Moorside Bar and Club, but in future the Club will have a regular Zoom meeting on the first Thursday of each month. This maybe followed by more meet-ups to be decided each month, which will be mainly outdoor based. The regular Zoom meeting will start from Thursday 7th September 2023. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Club, do make contact by emailing [email protected] we look forward to welcoming you to this friendly group of snappers.

This coming Thursday 16th March 2023 we have Peter Jones gving his presentation "Indian, Wildlife and Culture". This will be at 19:30 via Zoom. This Thursday 2nd June 2022 at 19:30 we have our Best of Year Print Competition. Due to Covid this year the images are being judged as digital images. We hope that next season we will be fully back to normal with 'real' prints again. All welcome to join us for the evening by emailing [email protected]
