Hana & David 💛 Falside Mill

My last trip to Falside Mill Kingsbarns this year 🥲 But what a wedding to end on!!

Hana and David’s wedding was full of guests from all over the world! It was so wonderful to hear so many languages spoken during the drinks reception. Getting to know so many interesting people was such a joy. We captured so many joyful moments, from getting ready in St Andrews, to the church ceremony and epic confetti toss that practically closed a down a busy St Andrews street! (Sorry to the random tourist couple on the bench - I’m pretty sure you didn’t ask for confetti discs on your take-away chips!) to running through fields at Falside Mill and eating a GIANT tiramisu!

Balbirnie by candlelight 🌹

Let me take you back to October 2024 and the time I pulled a bunch of faux candles from inside of BalbirnieHouse and created a little candlelight photo shoot on the front steps with Leah & Dale.
As photographers (especially in Scotland during the Autumn/Winter months) we worry so much about losing the daytime & golden hour light that we forget so much magic can be created at night.

I love these photos and will find any excuse to post them 😍

Estelle & Jack chose the historic landscape of Penicuik for their July nuptials, enjoying exclusive use of the estate’s Orangery, House Ruins and Italian Courtyard & Rose Garden.

With the surrounding estate cottages, this premier Scottish wedding venue hosts 48 overnight guests, allowing a documentary photographer to capture the effortless flow of a multi-day weekend wedding celebration.

I’m thrilled to have captured such a stunning new venue in Scotland and highly recommend a viewing if you’re planning your big day 💍
