The Whippet House 🏚️

Located in a rural village, this rather modern house has been left behind.

This striking place is hidden behind a wall of overgrowth but inside it's as if the owners left in a hurry. Most possessions were discarded into two rooms and various things left in situ.

It's as if this house has been visited by the cleaning fairies, as soon as you walk in the place has a weird aura about it. Things set up in the living room, where they wouldn't normally be and the 'kids bedroom' is like the set for a budget TV soap.

Previous photographs show the bedroom mainly empty but someone has clearly dragged as many children's items they could find to set up the room.

As much as I understand it looks like somewhere that's 'untouched', moving anything around in places like this just takes away the whole idea that it has been left in time.

Forgotten Bungalow 🏚️

Located in a peaceful spot somewhere in the UK, this house that was once a home has been left to ruin.

It's a wonder to think of this house in its former glory, sat next to one of the many drains and far enough from any busy road.

After we initially posted this place we were contacted by a family member who was unaware of the condition.

Every room in this little bungalow feels like it holds a memory, even if time has left everything scattered behind.

We came across this place through a tip-off while exploring nearby. With no verified history to go on, we'd rather appreciate it for what it is than speculate about why it was left behind.

It's a shame it didn't stay this way for long, as vandalism soon took its toll.
