LAURA & CONNOR

It's been quite a few years since I was at Orocco Pier - South Queensferry for a wedding but, on Saturday, I was back and, can we just say, what glorious weather too after all the rain we've had lately!

As usual, I shot the day in my primarily candid, documentary style, pausing only briefly for a handful of group shots and one super-quick couple shoot at the harbour ... 10 mins and done, just the way I like it.

Great to work alongside Emma on content creation duties for the day. And, of course, big shout out to all the other fabulous suppliers too:

ASHLEY & DAVID

So guys, that's 2026 off and running for me with two weddings in quick succession and, on Saturday, I was out on my first ever visit to Mossedge Village to shoot Ashley & David's big day ... and one full of surprises at that!

The guys chose a small intimate early evening ceremony but kept this a secret from their evening guests who thought they were coming to celebrate the guys' engagement and David's birthday, so imagine their surprise when Ashley walked into the room in her wedding dress to reveal the big news!

Delighted as always to have picked up a couple more awards in the fourth and final round of competition with the for 2025.

So, in the order you see them we have a shot from from my final wedding of last year with Marnie & Andrew at with this shot taken on the Royal Mile and, secondly, a shot from Megan & Scott's big day at the from the beginning of November.

With these final two awards, I accumulated enough points to finish within the Top 100 again, 71st to be exact so, as usual, a massive thank you to all the couples that entrusted me to shoot their big day without whom etc etc.

Thank you again guys and on to 2026!!!

Delighted as always to be recognised at one of the Top 150 wedding photographers in the world 2025 by the , 127th to be exact. This also means I'm Scotland's top ranked WPJA photographer for the fourth year running so a massive thanks to all the fabulous couples that book with me and make this happen!

You guys know that I'm a documentary wedding photographer, focusing on real moments rather than staged ones, so to be recognised in this specific field of photography is always an honour, especially as I missed out in 2024.
