Hannah, in a custom House of Savin | Bridal Couture dress hand painted in Barcelona… a collective moment please.

Last week I shot the wedding of Tom and Hannah Wedderlie House and was welcomed in like one of the family. Being able to shoot a wedding in this way is such a treat and something I strive to do every time. Reading and listening to mentors lately, significant importance is put on blending in as one of the key factors to documenting the day and capturing not only images but feelings.

Sometimes a wedding comes along that gets me so excited I immediately want to make the couple my new best friends. From every detail shared I just knew that we could absolutely be pals and live happily ever after… this happened with A + J, the only problem? They live in Aus. Go figure.
last week they stole my heart with their style, taste and sheer love for one another. A joy to shoot and pleasure to witness a day I hope to never forget.
I cannot wait for the film to come back from this one!

I’d love to do a few more sessions at home or outside this summer for families looking for some memories on film. Digital will also be given but the session will predominantly be 35mm.

Recently I am enjoying revisiting past galleries and finding new loves within them! I find it so helpful and also so interesting to look back and discover images I had perhaps overlooked originally.
Work for me feels so intentional this year, carefully observing and capturing your day with grace and intrigue. When I look at these images of L + A I see nothing but the fun we had in the light that evening. Every wedding should feel like that! You should look back with nothing but fondness for what we captured together.

A beautiful morning for an intimate garden ceremony within the grounds of Dalgheal House on the Novar Estate, Inverness. The rain came, and it went and it came again - much like the majority of May so far. It did not however dampen the spirits of C + F who after this took me on a nerve wracking quest to the top of Fyrish in a Landrover 😬
