We visited the National Breeding Centre (http://www.guidedogs.org.uk/aboutus/national-breeding-centre/ #.U4cRVCi0NGw), in preparation of the Volunteers' Thank You event to be held on Thursday 5th June 2014. We will keep you posted on FB, Twitter and imagebyte.net

Our state of the art centre will enable us to increase the number of puppies we breed annually from 1,100 to 1,500, and increase the number of guide dog partnerships annually to 900 by 2014.

We had the pleasure and honour to follow 3 trainers and 4 dogs from the Guide Dogs for the Blind yesterday during their training in town and at the Leamington Spa 'Guide Dogs for the Blind' centre. Thanks to Caroline, Simon and Laura and dogs Lloyd, Alfie, Sparky and puppy Isaac for their time and good mood :)

Isaac is a very well behaved, fun and happy yelow golden retriever puppy. He is 12 week's old and has started training as he wants to become a Guide Dog when he grows up!

The other dogs we met were 14 months' old Sparky and Lloyd, one is a black labrador x golden retriever, the other is a dark yellow labrador x golden retriever. Both of showed us how they are being trained in the Warwick Castle area as well as Leamington Spa (the Parade, Regent's Court, Holly Walk). Busy areas, but the dogs and trainers proved how well behaved and focused they are. They will definitely become a great asset to someone in need of a helpful Guide Dog.

Also, Golden Retrievers and Labradors are not the only breeds we came across at The Guide Dogs'. We met a lovely German Shepperd that proved that one's breed does not matter, all dogs are equal! :)

As part of our Charity work, we are very proud to announce that we will be covering the Volunteer Thank You event at the National Breeding Centre - The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association (UK) on 5th June. Looking forward to this amazing event
