The most peaceful sunset with you 💛🫶🏽

We stayed for Golden Hour and then headed back home as I wanted to get Isla home for a good enough time.

We had a couple of moments at Friars Crag where it was just me and her and it was so peaceful and relaxing after just hiking Castle Crag.

Exactly what was needed ✨

A beautiful sunny walk along the coast yesterday! 🌞💛🌊

We walked part of the Cleveland Way from Saltburn to The Charm Bracelet which can be found just before reaching Skinningrove.

It’s around 6.5km and takes approximately 2 hours there and back.

It’s a lovely flat walk once you’ve got up the steps at the start and there is a gentle incline but you don’t really notice it.

Next time we may go a little further!☺️

Isla’s 13th Wainwright - Castle Crag 🌿🌞

And what an absolute beauty of a day it was yesterday in Lakes for it!

Pure sun shining and no wind! We couldn’t have got a better day for it.

It was Isla’s first time in her new carrier and she absolutely loved it🥹

Ngl tho, I was knackered 😂 It certainly ain’t easy having a little human stapled to your bag up the fells!

Coming from someone who for a long time was used to their own company, schedules and time.

She’s already taught me a lot so far and she continues to teach me everyday.

Every adventure we take outside the house is completely different.

But I wouldn’t have it any other way now 🌿🎀🩷

Mine and Isla’s first little hike up Roseberry Topping, just the two of us 🌿🎀🩷

Timed it where I knew Isla would have finished all her milk and was due her nap.

She got a little upset as we reached the little house as the wind started picking up and she was tired but once we were on the move up Roseberry she fell fast asleep☺️

I didn’t let the wind stop us on this walk because it was warm enough and the sun was shining! Isla was also protected in my coat so I decided to continue with her ☀️

I’m proud of this walk as it was the first one we’ve done just me and her and I got lots of compliments on the way up and down from random people saying how well I was doing and hats off to me😂
Which actually made me feel a whole lot better too✨

We’ll certainly be doing Roseberry more often for daily exercise now the weather is picking up!

Heya…. Just a little reintroduction 🙋🏽‍♀️🌿🥾

As many of you will have noticed, my account has changed a lot. And this is purely down to my beautiful daughter Isla.

She is now the biggest part of my life and I’m navigating this massive change in the best way that I can.

Since posting with Isla I’ve lost over 1000 followers (some may be bots insta had got rid of) but this doesn’t necessarily bother me, it just means that they no longer see my account as one they’d like to follow and that’s okay! I would however still love to keep growing this account and showing, real, raw and truthful experiences I encounter with Isla and our adventures 🌿

She’s going to be a part of everything I do now, so my account is going to continue to change a little as I will be showing more child, baby friendly things you can do and still love the outdoors!

So do feel free to follow along! ☺️

The walk that didn’t happen 💨🌧️

Today we were suppose to do a 6km circular around Lord Stones however once we set off, we realised the wind was quite strong. Isla wasn’t enjoying it in the slightest so we decided to turn back. This is reality. It’s now our reality.

Before Isla, me and Joe wouldn’t have been bothered but priorities change, Isla’s comfort will always be at the top of our list.

And we still managed to get a walk in! We just went around out local park instead 🌿

Kids or no kids, knowing when to turn back and call it a day is better than putting yourself in a situation you wished you hadn’t.

Safely first. The routes will always be there 🤍

The greatest discovery in life is self-discovery. Until you find yourself, you’ll always be someone else. 🤍

Before I had Isla, I had found myself through hiking, camping and generally being outdoors. I’d found my passion and my love.

Since having Isla, I’ve become a whole different person. I’m now a Mother. A mother to a beautiful baby girl who’s sees me as her whole world, favourite person and one day her role model ✨

So now I’m on a whole new journey of finding myself again, one where I still have so much to learn and discover.

And Isla is on it with me. We’re in this together. Adventuring, learning, discovering 🌿

Life didn’t ‘end’ when I had you, like lots of people said it would. It had only just begun 🤍❄️
