Today was a variation of Garden Birds. One of which, the Long Tailed Tit, I haven’t seen in some time. My personal favourite. There was my Blue T**s, I called them mine because they nest in my Garden every year, it was nice to see them back. Then the Great Tit, they usually stop by, but this is the longest I’ve seen them hang around. And of course the Long Tailed Tit. They are just so cute. Just as I was about to stop taking photos, I was lucky enough to see a Robin. They say that, “when a Robin appears, a loved one is near”, maybe Grandad stopped by to say hello. True or not that’s what I choose to believe.

Apologies if they are a little out of focus, they move bloody fast and my hands were getting cold holding the camera with no gloves on. You’d never know it was spring if it weren’t for the spring flowers and the return of the Garden Birds. It would be nice if the weather would just warm up a bit.

I had the opportunity this past Sunday (22/2/25) to photograph a friend of mines son while playing football. In doing so I got a great photo of him kicking a ball, and a photo of him after the Game.

I thought I would combine these two and make him an “players card” and a Magazine cover for him. Both he and his Mum really liked it and said it was ok if I shared it. I hope you like it as much as they did.

I have been away for far too long.

As most of you will know, I’ve had quite a few changes going on in the background. Sadly, Grandad passed away in November at 90 years young. To say I was destroyed is an understatement.

Then a month later I welcomed my first Grandson just after Christmas. To say I was excited goes beyond what you might imagine. He’s gorgeous and perfect in every way.

The end of 2025 was definitely a rollercoaster of emotions. It’s time, and I am ready to get back to what I love doing.

I would like to thank you all for being so patient with me, and for many thank you for supporting me.

Now, I’m getting back to snapping.

I’ve been watching the Birds and Squirrel for a while now, and since the weather is so lovely and warm, I thought, why not open the French doors and photograph my Garden visitors.
