Nicky & Luke were giving us timeless, classic romance in their bridal portraits, taking a quiet moment at their Chevin Hotel wedding. With lots of big emotions in the story of your wedding day, the portraits are always a perfect time to take a quiet moment and reset together, looking at one another and realizing "We did it! We're married!"

As delighted as we are to travel across the UK for weddings, we love being local, joining this pair at one of our favourite venues right here in the heart of Yorkshire.

Deep in our feelings from this emotional entrance last Monday, with Oli misty-eyed waiting at the top of the aisle for the arrival of the beautiful bride, Lucy.

There were lots of (happy!) tears during their ceremony, from the newlyweds, and their loved ones, as everyone shared in a beautiful new chapter of their love story.

We know that in the moment the entrance can feel like a blur, so heavy with emotion and excitement, which is why we're so glad to do the job we love.

We can't believe how much love we were lucky to witness in the past seven days, so we're jumping back a whole week, to where we joined Claire & Joe (looking like a magazine cover) for their celebrations.

They were married in Haworth, a place steeped in history, adding their story to the chapters of the famous St. Michael's before heading out to into the village, snapping photos and celebrating.

There's a lot more to come of this pair, but for now, one of our favourite snapshots from their portraits!

Otley Chevin is a special venue to our team for a lot of reasons, including it being Dave & Hannah's very own wedding venue, but the proximity to these beautiful Yorkshire views is second to-none.

Blue skies and a stunning landscape really brought the day together for Laura and Gary as they shared a quieter moment alone away from their loved ones.

There really is nothing like Yorkshire!
