I had the loveliest phone call with a client recently about her maternity photos, and honestly... she made me cry.
She told me that so many of her friends had maternity photos taken. Beautiful photos, of course, but often quite generic. She said what drew her to me was that I create something different.
For me, maternity photography has never just been about taking snapshots. It's about creating art.
Every image is created with the finished piece in mind — something timeless that you'll still love decades from now. Elegant. Classy. Meaningful. Never cheesy or overly posed.
I love experimenting, being creative, and designing portraits that feel like they belong on your walls, not hidden away on a hard drive.
But what meant the most was hearing her say that the experience itself was just as special as the photographs. That she felt comfortable, beautiful, and completely looked after throughout the process.
Creating artwork is important to me, but creating memories of the experience is too.
