Round 6 of Nat2North saw the Aces face off against Darlington Mowden Park at Rudding Lane.

A tough afternoon for the home side with DMP putting on a score to apply as much pressure to table toppers Sedgley Park in the league!

Round 6 of the National League Rugby 2 North season saw Darlington Mowden Park travel south to Rudding Lane to face Harrogate Rugby.

A tough afternoon for the Aces and a statement from DMP in their chase of Sedley Park in the division!

On the road with Harrogate Rugby to Dore Moor and the home of Sheffield Tigers RUFC.

Harrogate were heading to South Yorkshire off the back of consecutive defeats in Rounds 3 and 4, whilst the home side were still searching for their first win of the season.

A very close game played out in great conditions, saw the Aces take victory with minutes to spare and take a 5 point win back to Rudding Lane!

On the road with Harrogate Rugby to Dore Moor and the home of Sheffield Tigers RUFC.

Harrogate were heading to South Yorkshire off the back of consecutive defeats in Rounds 3 and 4, whilst the home side were still searching for their first win of the season.

The Tigers would score minutes after the kick off, however the Aces would take a slender 21-19 lead in at the break.

The 2nd half would see fewer points scored with Tigers going for the posts with a penalty about 25 minutes into the half to take the lead, and soon after scoring their 4th try to secure what they thought might be their first victory of the season.

However, the Aces not wanting to go down to another defeat, rallied, secured line out ball near the oppositions try line, scored with 2 minutes to go and critically slotted over the conversion to take the lead when it counted on the score board!

Round 4 of the Nat2North season and Hull Ionians RUFC were the visitors to Rudding Lane this afternoon.

Ionians were coming into this weekend having started the season unbeaten and the Aces were hoping to replicate their last win at home against Billingham.

Harrogate would unfortunately find the away side continuing their winning form and reaffirming their top of the table credentials!
