This year is the most exciting in our 10 year history as we begin a partnership with the Warwickshire/Northamptonshire, Derbyshire/Leicestershire/Rutland Air Ambulance service’s & The Children’s Air Ambulance service. Every photograph we sell will include a donation to these wonderful charities. As most of us are aware the Air Ambulance is a charity funded service but until our visit to the Coventry base we were unaware of the scale of the work and funding required with an average of three rescue missions every single day and each rescue mission costing an average of £1,400. The Children's Air Ambulance is the only dedicated helicopter emergency transfer service for seriously ill children and babies, flying them from one hospital to a more specialist facility. It's estimated that approximately 5,800 children need transferring between hospitals every single year. The Children's Air Ambulance is able to drastically cut the time it takes to carry out these types of transfers, which means sick children and babies can get lifesaving care as soon as possible - giving them the very best chances of survival and recovery. Again this service is a charity funded service and with your help we at Emma Gann Photography will be making a difference
