Burning the midnight oil to get our exhibition ready! The studio and gallery will be open from 11am–4pm this Friday, Saturday and Sunday for Artwave Festival, and again the following weekend for Heritage Open Days. Looking forward to welcoming you all then!

One for the Lewes history buffs and architecture enthusiasts... The recent restoration work on our shop front has revealed the side of our mathematical tiles, so you can see how they work!

Lots of the buildings on Lewes High Street feature these not-brick fascias, as 18th century owners updated their old timber framed buildings with a more modern look. Look out for a lack of window and door lintels to identify a mathematical tile frontage.

The Reeves Archive lightboxes return to the windows of Lewes on 11th September with Stories Seen Through A Glass Plate: Working Lewes. The exhibition tells the stories of Lewes townsfolk at work over a period of 100 years, illustrated with images from the Edward Reeves archive.
