Excited to announce that I can now offer short promotional videos! 🥳📹

Towards the end of last year I agreed to make 2 promotional videos for a local school….having never recorded or edited video before 😬. After quietly panicking about what I’d just said yes to, I got stuck in and surprised myself with how much I actually enjoyed it!

This is all my own work, from the initial filming to the final video you see above. I would love to now offer this to personal branding clients and small businesses moving forward ☺️

I’m not normally one to jump on trends but I’ve found the ‘2026 is the new 2016’ an interesting one.

On the whole, 2016 was a really difficult year for me. I’d given up a job I loved to look after our toddler full time and I wasn’t coping. I was physically exhausted, grieving the loss of my identity, and battling a strong willed 3 year old everyday; my mental health was at rock bottom. In a bid to find a bit of the old me, I enrolled in an evening photography course at college and it was the best thing I ever did. Those 2 hours a week saved my sanity and provided me with a break from reality where I could escape from my own head and immerse myself in something other than motherhood. It was my therapy. And it still is 10 years later 😊.

This year I stepped out my comfort zone and added personal branding to my list of photography services. Bringing clients specific branding imagery to life is tricky; it’s not just about creating eye catching photos but also tying in the look and feel of their business whilst keeping everything on brand. I could really do with taking everything I’ve learnt and using it in my own business. I’ll add it to the list of things to do in 2026 🤣
