"I've collected vintage here and there for around 12 years now. My passion began after attending 1940s events and I fell in love with wartime power dressing - lovely, sharp gabardine suits and fancy hats are my favourites, particularly in the American style. I also make and restore a lot of things by hand, which helps to stay within budget (or so I tell myself!), and I scour second hand sites to find the best bargains. I am a massive history lover, world war two being my main interest, and we bring our 1942 Willys jeep to most events and my husband re-enacts the 101st. We recently had our 2 beautiful sons, who have yet to understand the work that goes into looking after vintage clothing, so I reserve my best outfits for vintage events and war weekends these days!"
