Did we get the summery weather we had planned on for this shoot? No.
Did we still get wholesome family photos packed full of memories? Yes!

We pivoted and embraced the rain instead, went hunting for the biggest puddles, sheltered under bridges and dried off in a cafe. ☕

POV your baby is about to turn one

The thigh rolls
The cheek dimples
The hand dimples
The mischievous grin

Their little personality is developing, slowly changing from a baby to a toddler.

I say slowly, but actually it goes so fast. It's like whiplash, one second they are this tiny newborn all scrunched up on your chest, the next they are pulling themselves up, trying to walk and babbling in their own little language.

Children like to feel free, they want to move, they want to play. And so they should!
The best photos will come when children don't feel like they are being forced into a photoshoot, and the same goes for adults!

Sessions with me are relaxed and child-led. I'll use gentle prompts to create moments, and that's where the magic happens.
In the giggles, the cuddles, the tickles.

They are so much fun. Messy, yes, but that's the best bit!
