🐾 Berrie

There’s something so special about photographing dogs in black and white. 🤍🖤

The simplicity of the image really brings out their character - timeless, pure, and completely focused on the dog.

This is Berrie, a beautiful 7-month-old Show Cocker Spaniel, photographed recently at Ostlers Plantation near Woodhall Spa.

At just 7 months old, Berrie already has such a lovely presence, and I think this image captures that beautifully.

I absolutely love how this one turned out. 🐾

🐾 A Lovely 5 Star Review

It’s always fantastic to hear that the experience was as enjoyable for the owners as it was for me — especially when I’m photographing a young dog who doesn’t particularly believe in sitting still! 😄

🐾 It feels so good to be back out photographing dogs!

After what feels like forever, it was brilliant to finally get back out with the camera this week.

For the past couple of months, the extreme heat has meant having to reschedule, cancel, and move shoots because, quite simply, it just wasn't safe or comfortable for the dogs.

As frustrating as it was, the dogs always come first. ❤️

So getting back out into the woods, camera in hand, meeting dogs and their owners again has been lovely.

And this week I was back at Ostlers Plantation - and I think you'll agree, it's a pretty beautiful place to photograph a dog!

I'm really looking forward to getting back to doing what I love and creating some beautiful images for lots more dogs over the coming weeks.

🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Today is all about celebrating the dogs who make our lives better simply by being in them.

The crazy ones.
The cuddly ones.
The stubborn ones.
The ones who never sit still for a photograph… 😂

And the ones who have somehow become such a huge part of our family that we can't imagine life without them.

As a dog photographer, I'm lucky enough to meet so many amazing dogs and capture what makes each one unique.

Because that's what I love about photography. It's not just about a beautiful picture.

It's about capturing their personality, that look, that expression, that little bit of mischief - so you have something to treasure long after the moment has passed. ❤️

We never know how many years we'll get with our dogs, but we can make sure we have beautiful memories of the years we do have.

So today, give your dog an extra cuddle, take far too many photos, and celebrate just how special they are.

Just look at this gorgeous French Bulldog!

Narla had her photoshoot at Chambers Farm Woods near Wragby, and she certainly has plenty of character.

Narla is a girl who knows exactly what she likes… STICKS!

It was great capturing these forever photographs of Narla for her owners - memories they can treasure for years to come.
