⚠ A N N O U N C E M E N T ⚠

My beautiful middle boy, Orlando, has sadly broken BOTH of his wrists in an accident at the park at the weekend and is needing a lot of TLC as he is unable to do a lot of things himself (thankfully he has mastered using a remote so that's saved me a job)!

I apologise to any families this affects in terms of moving sessions, my now more limited availability over the coming weeks and any delay to replying to messages, galleries and so on and appreciate the kindness, understanding and patience already shown by so many of you.

He's already handling it better than any adult would in this situation and we are so proud of him. These were taken before his accident and I just love them even more now showing his cheeky, beautiful personality which thankfully hasn't been changed despite everything he has been through the last few days 🩵

Roll up for Lily's 3rd Act! 🎪 And she certainly put on the greatest show!

Who said cake smashes were only for humans?! It's that time of year when Lily, my sister's fur-baby, takes centre stage and celebrates another year of being the most pampered pooch around! 🥰

This incredible cake from The Barkeria deserved to be devoured in style, such a stunning creation that travelled in the post from London and lived to tell the 'tail' 🙃

I'm always amazed just how much Lily tolerates for photos...wearing a top hat is definitely a new one...I think her face says it all! 😅

Currently toying with offering a new style of birthday session for those families who want something a bit more simple and timeless but that still celebrates every milestone...let me know what you think! 🎈

This is gorgeous Fenna celebrating her 1st birthday (which happens to be today - happy birthday gorgeous)! and I just love that we have a set of beautiful, neutral portraits as well as the more colourful 'one' themed images that will always remind her Mama of her 1st year strawberry infatuation 🍓

I just love including this photo in all of my newborn sessions, perfect for asleep and awake babies, and this one was made extra special by the little pair of hands on top of baby's head 🥹

Those little hands were in The Cabin only just over a year ago for Genevieve's own newborn session and welcoming her back as a big sister to baby Beatrix (the most beautiful baby name of course 🩷) and creating images like this for the family to treasure was such a privilege. It's been a joy watching G grow this last year and seeing her as a big sister when she's still so tiny was gorgeous 🥰

I must admit, I do love it when babies are awake for this photo as those beautiful big eyes help make this portrait a timeless one that is always a joy to look back on as they grow bigger and don't fit in everyone's hands any more 🥹

The last time I did something like this was when my daughter (who is now 2 years and 3 months) was 5 days old and I wanted to capture as many of her amazing, funny, newborn expressions as I could.

I had so much funny giving prompts and letting kids figure out what their own faces could do to show as much personality as possible this past weekend and I LOVE the finished portraits!!

Years from now, these won't just remind you what they looked like...they'll remind you who they were at that exact moment in time. The cheeky grin, the missing teeth, the serious concentration face, the sass, the belly laugh, the eye roll that drove you mad at the time...I'm here for all of it 🥰

Bringing the sunshine to a dreary day with this gorgeous yellow...a colour I'm not asked for often but when I am it always looks so beautiful! 💛

A gorgeous newborn session today for this little lady, she took her time settling in for a little sleep and I made the most of both her awake time and when she finally gave in for a little bit! 🥰

I do love being in The Cabin when it is raining, chatting the day away with a lovely family and getting lots of baby snuggles - best 'job' in the world! ☀

If babies could talk during their newborn sessions I'm sure this is what this little man would be saying to me 🫣

I do love to go all out on the family photos but he handled it like a pro as there was always going to be plenty with a big sister, two big brothers and two incredible parents! 💙

I may have done a little squeal when this gorgeous boy arrived in The Cabin this morning and I saw all of that stunning hair!

This looks like such a simple portrait but often getting babies settled into it is much less simple and is usually a combination of some very important elements...warm air, a baby shusher, understanding positioning babies to ensure they are comfortable and a lot of patience!

I just adore how sweet and settled they look when everything comes together and this little man had the most perfect feet/toes for it as well...and don't even get me started on those squishy lips! 🥰

Final call for the last few family/Father's Day sessions this Saturday!

If you can't convince Dad to get in front of the camera, how about booking for his favourite little people and surprising him with some gorgeous photos instead!
