An incredible morning spent at Fillingham Christmas Trees sunflower field with this gorgeous family. The sunflowers made the most beautiful backdrop and there was plenty for the boys to explore!

We ran, hid, climbed, jumped and chased, and had the very best time. So many wonderful memories made and so many gorgeous little moments captured along the way🌻

We are so lucky in Lincoln to have such a historic, beautiful place to explore. The Bailgate is a treasure trove of gorgeous backdrops and stunning architecture. As a family we spend a lot of time together pottering these cobbled streets. We love getting an ice cream from the ice cream parlour. We sit together on the wall beside the cathedral and chat about how Craig and I got engaged inside it’s walls. We look for books in the bookstore and my kids always like a pitstop at Bo Peep Boutique
We enjoy hanging out on the castle grounds, particularly on a sunshine filled day. We also have fond memories of sledging down the hills there in the snow!

When my kids are grown up and maybe have families of their own, I’ll look back in fondness at the times we spent pottering around the Bailgate. Maybe I’ll even be creating more memories there with grandchildren!

It was special to capture a few photographs in a place that means something to us. I really encourage you to pick a location that means something to your family when you book a family shoot. In many years to come, they’ll mean a whole heap more when you reminisce back to that particular time in your life ✨

When a scene just lines up beautifully 🫶🏻

There’s something pretty magical about an evening by the water. As we were walking here there were three owls flying around together above our heads. We paused to admire them because it was a beautiful moment.
One of the important parts of a family shoot for me is that it just feels like an enjoyable family outing. I want you to genuinely come away feeling like you’ve had some quality time together. This world is scarily fast-paced and time moves so so quickly. A family photoshoot can be the perfect opportunity to slow down, enjoy family time and create special memories.

The beauty of family isn’t everyone doing the same thing. Sometimes it’s sisters lost in laughter while Dad gets lost in a good book. The ordinary moments are often the ones worth keeping ✨

What’s one childhood photograph you’ll treasure forever?
Feel free to share it or tell me about it in the comments. I’d love to hear why it means so much to you! Old photos are the very best 🫶🏻

Three people, two tender gestures and one special moment!

This little one was calmly breastfeeding whilst mummy gently stroked his feet and big sister lovingly stroked his hair. What a very lucky and precious boy with two incredible ladies in his life to love on him.

This goes to show that in one moment, I’m always noticing the little micro moments to capture within it too. It’s the tiny details that are so precious 🫶🏻

Summer evenings don’t stay the same for long. Neither do our children!
These two may have outgrown muddy puddles and piggyback rides, but watching them laugh, chat and simply enjoy being together with their Dad in the last of the evening sunshine, was a reminder that every stage deserves to be remembered.
The little years aren’t the only years worth documenting. The in-between years, where personalities shine, conversations flow and connections deepen, are just as precious.
Here’s to long summer evenings, beautiful skies and creating precious memories. ✨

Happy Father’s Day to all of the Dad’s that I’ve photographed since launching my business! I’ve met so many fab dad’s so far and I’m looking forward to getting to know more families in the future!

The Dad photographed here is particularly special…because he’s Dad to my girls 🫶🏻 It’s rare I get to photograph my own gang these days but it’s always lovely when I manage to!

Just one determined little poppet, riding her bike in a frilly dress along her usual biking route! What a joy it was to hear her shout “watch me Tiiiia” as she whizzed about like a little biker queen 👑
During an at home family session we decided to pop on our coats and shoes and head out for a quiet tootle around the village. I’m always up for this! I hugely encourage including activities in your sessions that are natural and part of your individual family routine. Photography for me is about capturing the personality and the normality of your family life. I want to document the dynamic between you all and the things that bring you joy. Sometimes we think that we have to show up to a photoshoot as a more polished version of ourselves, but remember that your family is beautiful just as you are. In the mismatched toddler chosen outfit, in the chaos filled days, in the kitchen table that is covered in crafts and evidence of busy happiness. If you like to bake, let’s bake! If you like to make dens together…yes let’s document that! If you’re a green fingered family who love gardening, let’s capture it!

Some of my very favourite photographs of children are the photographs where they’re not smiling. The images where their serious little face is captured inbetween the smiles and the action. There’s something so beautiful about the quiet, thoughtful expressions.
Don’t get me wrong, I love a happy, smiley photo as much as anyone. But there’s something about those moments in between. When they’re quietly watching, thinking, daydreaming or completely absorbed in whatever they’re doing. Those moments contain so much magic for me ✨
