Oakley girl 🌳

I have uploaded all of my images from the mini-shoot into photoshop and have started working through them one by one! This shot really caught my eye, this is Oakley the beautiful Golden Retriever. She’s such a playful girl and has a heart of gold, just like her coat 💛 dogs doing a full ‘lie’ command like this with no probably at all makes a photographer very happy indeed!

Last minute space at my Mini-Shoot event this weekend! 🪵

This weekend (Saturday 8th May) I am hosting my 3rd mini-shoot session event at Beecraigs Country park and have sadly had a client unexpectedly cancel which has opened up one slot at the event!

The mini-shoot session is a great opportunity to give your dog a photography shoot experience but on a smaller scale! At the mini-shoot session, you’ll receive:

🪵 30 minutes allocated time with me at Beecraigs Country park!
🪵 4 fine art portraits of your dog sent to you digitally after the shoot
🪵 A little goody bag for your Hound

The cost of this is £50 and the time available is 10:00am. Please message me directly to book this slot, first one to message grabs it!

The silver girl, Indie

I always favourite shoots like this where I get to photograph not one, but two breeds for the first time! This is Indie, the gorgeous Weimaraner owned by a lovely friend of mine. Our shoot was delayed by Covid for over a year!! but we finally got to take the girls out and had so much fun with the dogs, chatting for hours and experimenting with what we had in the field - who knew an old tyre could create such a beautiful picture!

I was buzzing after this shoot and was so excited to show Indie’s mum a sneak peak of the images - this one I had a vision of and can't believe we nailed it!!

Restrictions have finally been lifted! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

It feels good to feel free! I have a trip up north planned for Sunday, packing my own dog in the car and going for a little adventure with the camera. I hope you all enjoy your first weekend of being able to travel around Scotland 🥾🐾

Darcey

One of my favourite shoots ever (I know I say this a lot, I can’t help it that my clients are so gorgeous and it feels like they are the best shoots I’ve ever done!!). Darcey the working Labrador and I met on a frosty morning at Tenstmuir Forrest and had an absolute blast. I’m a bit obsessed with blue and gold in photography, and I loooove how warm Darcey looks here against the cold colours of the heather.

Darcey is gundog trained and it was a pleasure to see the work her owners have put into her. She really was a dream to work with (I did ask at the end if I could swap my two for her, I loved her that much!!)

Good company, fantastic location and the most beautiful girl 🤍

Harley

My first shoot back after lockdown number... (??) and I met Harley and her parents for a sunrise woodland shoot. As expected, a beautiful Spaniel like Harley made the woodland backdrop effortlessly gorgeous!

⭐️ We are back open! ⭐️

I am getting round all of my clients one by one to re-schedule all appointments in order that they were sadly cancelled due to Covid. If you haven’t heard from me yet, please bear with me as I get round my huge list of people to contact in the next few days. I cannot wait to get you all rebooked back in and planning for some amazing shoots. Let’s make this year full of the best photo shoots ever!

Just wanted to pass on a big thank you to each and every single one of my clients. I cannot tell you how easy you’ve made this for me, having to constantly shift the dates of shoots and cancel them during this awful time. I hope you’re all really excited to finally get your shoot back in the diary!

I am sadly still not able to take on any new clients as my backlog will probably take me until the end of summer to work through and I am keeping this year free to ensure my current list of clients are able to have their shoots done first. I will however be posting up a few new dates for some mini-shoot sessions this year, so keep your eyes peeled for these if you’re interested in booking your best furry friend in for a shoot.

As always, the likes, comments and shares on my business page keeps my business alive. I am so busy because of word of mouth and the power of social media so I thank you to those who always support me on my page during this tough year.
