“These pictures are incredible!!!!! We absolutely love them.”

Last weekend I captured Sophie and Mike’s fun wedding at The Reader in Calderstones Park. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph a few weddings here now and always love coming back. It’s a park I know really well, having spent plenty of time here over the years.

Sophie got ready with her bridesmaids, mum and friends before heading over to the Mansion at Calderstones for a lovely personal ceremony in the garden, led by the wonderful 🩷Celebrating Fun and Relaxed Ceremonies by your Story💛. The forecast had been for plenty of rain, but thankfully most of it arrived in the early hours, leaving us with pretty nice weather on the day, albeit a bit windy.

After the ceremony, Sophie and Mike were joined by their dog Sadie for bubbles outside the Mansion, and she stuck around for the rest of the day too. By the evening, had the dance floor packed for a brilliant party.

Sharing a few from Connie and John’s fun wedding at the stunning Keele Chapel last week, followed by boozy bingo, speed quizzing and plenty of dancing at Keele Hall

Connie’s mum had been busy on the run-up to the day, making Connie’s dress as well as the ties and pocket squares and putting together the flowers, while John’s grandad gave a lovely speech as best man.

Last week I was in London for Sarah and Ross’s wedding at in Stoke Newington, followed by celebrations at The Londesborough N16 afterwards. Such a fun day to capture with a packed dance floor in the evening thanks to Michael Moore

“Thanks so much for sending these across, they look amazing!! Can’t wait to see the rest…”

Sharing a few from Freya and Tom’s day, who were married in a lovely intimate ceremony just over a week ago at St Oswald’s Church in Oswestry, surrounded by their immediate family and a few close friends.

After a buffet in the church hall and a brief appearance from their dog Eddie, they headed across to Love Lane Brewery in Liverpool for a big celebration.

This was such a fun day to capture, with lovely speeches, music, plenty of laughter and a dancefloor that went off straight away.

Jess and Jamie had such a brilliant time celebrating their wedding at Fairfield Social Club just over a week ago. Having captured their legal ceremony the day before, I was so excited to be back in Manchester for the big celebration.

And what a day it was. There was just a great atmosphere, with everyone in the moment and enjoying themselves, from the karaoke room to the dance floor and everything in between. Jess and Jamie’s friends were on the decks in the evening, showing off some incredible DJing skills and made sure the dance floor was packed.

Sharing a few photos from Maria and Anthony’s wonderful wedding last week in the small market town of Masham, Yorkshire. They were married at St Mary’s Church before making their way to Masham Town Hall, just a few minutes walk away, for a fun party and a chance for their closest friends and family, some of whom had travelled from Paris, to sample Theakston’s Old Peculiar, the local ale.

August kicked off in style at Rylands Farmhouse, where Samantha and Glyn were married in the Cheshire sunshine. It was a double celebration too, as their golden retriever Barney was also celebrating his eighth birthday.

With both of them getting ready on site, I was able to spend the morning capturing both sides of the preparations. The ceremony was lovely, and Glyn’s reaction to seeing Samantha walk down the aisle to LARA SIMPSON playing the violin was such a brilliant moment.

After the confetti, everyone enjoyed drinks in the sunshine before settling in for the speeches, followed by good old pie and chips. Samantha and Glyn got things started on the dancefloor, which was bouncing for the rest of the evening.

A brilliant way to start my busiest month of weddings of the year.

Last week I had the pleasure of capturing Helen and Jack’s amazing wedding party on Helen’s parents’ farm in tropical West Wales. It was an incredible DIY celebration that Helen and Jack had planned, which was brought to life with the help of their friends and family.

There were too many lovely personal touches to mention, from the spritz truck and lawn games to the secret garden, a huge team effort on the catering, and even a pub. After the confetti walk, Helen and Jack served every guest a drink from the shot trailer, before the speeches and a lively dance floor rounded off the day.

Sharing a few images from Leonie and James’ wedding earlier this month. They were married in an intimate ceremony at Manchester Register Office before heading to Higher Ground for a meal with friends and family. After the meal, and an unplanned hospital trip, it was back to their house for a party. It was such a lovely day to be part of. Thanks so much for having me there to capture it.

“Wow, thank you so much for sharing the previews! They are amazing! We love them and can’t wait to see the rest.”

Worton Kitchen Garden already held good memories for Beth and Zak after a date there a few years ago, so it felt like a fitting place for their wedding on Saturday.

The day began with them getting ready together at Beth’s family home, before walking down the aisle side by side for an outdoor ceremony led by their friend Cesca.

Ch*****ne and canapés in the garden followed, before Beth and Zak took a few minutes to listen to their friends play the ceremony music once again. The speeches brought plenty of laughs, hugs and tears, and before long everyone was on the dance floor for a set from their friend Jenny as the sun started to set on the second longest day of the year.
