“Thanks so much for all your hard work on Saturday! You really put us both at ease, we had the best day. You’ve captured some amazing moments and the atmosphere of the day perfectly.”

What a day this was. Last week I had the pleasure of capturing Lucy and Dileep’s wedding at , followed by celebrations at Tatton Park.

Lucy got ready with her bridal party at the before taking the short walk down Hope Street to the Metropolitan Cathedral for their Syro-Malabar Catholic wedding ceremony.

Afterwards, guests headed to Tatton Park by bus and made the most of the beautiful weather and surroundings before sitting down for the wedding meal and speeches.

As the sun started to drop, most guests enjoyed the evening outside (one or two with an eye on the Arsenal, PSG game) before the party got underway with a garland ceremony, drummers, and plenty of dancing.

Congratulations Laura and Liam, who were married in the Lutyens Crypt at last Friday, before making their way across Liverpool in a classic VW Camper from and heading to for a meal with friends and family. It was my first time shooting at the Metropolitan Cathedral and it’s such an incredible place, thanks Laura and Liam for allowing to capture your special day, it was such a wonderful day.

Congratulations Fiona and Geraint, it was loads of fun photographing your special day in Stockport on Saturday. Following their ceremony at Stockport Town Hall, and plenty of colourful confetti afterwards, they had a stroll through town together, grabbing a coffee at their mate’s café bar The Apple Core, before heading down to to celebrate with friends and family. Such a great day to be part of thanks so much for having me there.

Claudia and Hayden, what a day up in the Lakes last Saturday! Yes, it rained, but that didn’t matter one bit as these two celebrated in style with their friends and family at Stag Lodge, Winterfell, a beautiful country house close to Windermere.

Following the outdoor ceremony, which finished just before the rain really came down, the dancing started early and only paused for the speeches and food before kicking off all over again. The energy all day was unreal.

“What can we say!? These are beautiful, funny and have captured the day perfectly!”

Such a joy to capture Emma and Andrew’s incredible wedding in sunny Liverpool last Saturday. Emma got ready with her two bridesmaids and her mum, before being joined by her dad and brother ahead of the short trip to the ceremony.

They were married at and, after a lovely and emotional ceremony, enjoyed a coffee and pastry reception upstairs on the balcony.

Andrew and Emma then took a walk around some of their favourite parts of Liverpool, the city where they first met, fell in love and now call home, before heading to and for their reception and party.

Thanks so much for trusting me to capture your day, there were so many wonderful moments so it was not easy to select just 20 images.

I was so happy two of my images were recently chosen as ‘Highly Commended’ in the first round of awards. Another really nice surprise at the start of this year.

Unsure if you want the morning part of your wedding day captured? You might think not much happens, the room will be a bit of a mess, or it’s not as important as everything that follows.

But it really is part of the story. The anticipation, the nervous energy, quiet moments of reflection, hair and makeup coming together, laughter with friends and family, these are what make the day yours.

It’s also a chance to get comfortable with your photographer before you step out of the car or make your way into wherever you’ve chosen to get married.

Sharing some photos from The Little Fox today, a wonderful wedding venue on the Wirral in Merseyside that I’ve been lucky enough to work at a couple of times and I’m looking forward to shooting another wedding here next year. With plenty of indoor and outdoor space to celebrate and make the day your own, super-helpful staff who make sure everything flows and a countryside feel just a few miles from Liverpool and Chester.
