The aim of this business is to capture your pet is their most natural environment possible. When requesting my services please be aware of the following:
----ABOUT ME----
- This is a secondary source of income and not my main work. I currently have a full time job with variable hours of work. Between the months of March-October I will and should be able to shoot after my early shifts (finishing a
nywhere between 4pm-5pm) and therefore this will give me more opportunity to cater to your requests. To know whether or not your session is appropriate for time, please judge the sunrise/sunset times of that day as my camera is not equipped for night-time photography and I want to avoid using flash as much as possible.
- Since I've been around pets of all shapes and sizes all my life I understand things can get messy. I will not turn up to your home/walk dressed to impress. Cats and dogs moult, rodents can smell, amphibians and reptiles (and anything really) can p**p, p*e or vomit at any point in time and I will be getting on the floor with your pets. In most cases I will be wearing clothes that I don't mind getting dirty. This is by no means a reflection of you or what I think your home will be like.
- While I have a Level 3 Ext. Diploma in Animal Management, a 2:1 Zoology Degree (BSc) and 100s hours of hands on animal experience, it doesn't hurt for you to let me know abut your pet and things I should expect/be aware of.

**For petrol, its requested that for every 20 miles outside of the Wirral, an extra £10 is paid. This is measured from Gayton Shell Garage (CH60 3RY) which lies on the border between Wirral and Cheshire. When planning the route and quoting the price, I'd base the miles on the lowest mile route from the above postcode.**
e.g. A dog walk at Delamere Forest
£50 for the shoot and services
Distance is 20.8 miles (+£10)
Total cost - £60
Should you feel you want to provide a tip, this is entirely at your discretion. Payments can be bank transfer or cash. Payment will be taken when the shoot itself is completed. DOES NOT TAKE EFFECT UNTIL 1ST MARCH 2022
----BEFORE THE PHOTOSHOOT: YOUR PET & HOME----
-It is strongly recommended that your clean your home (wipe down and hoover) in anticipation for these shoots. Not to insinuate anyone's homes are dirty, however if your pets have dark fur the smallest bit of dust will be picked up easily by my camera. A cleaner environment makes for a brighter environment to take photos.
-Any personal items you don't want to be in the photos, please remove from the area where photos will be taken. If you're happy for me to follow your pet around the whole house, then please put these items away in a safe concealed space. Examples can be personal photos, rare items or valuables, Urns, work equipment or documents.
- Any clutter you don't want to be in photos, please store beforehand (common example is children's toys, sports equipment)
-IF YOU ARE WORKING FROM HOME - Please make sure any work equipment is turned off and not on display. I recommend any confidential information you have is appropriately stored.
-As discovered with my volunteers, a lot of animals can be very excitable or skittish when someone new enters their territory. As I want to try and limit my time per shoot to 2-3 hours, it is HIGHLY recommended that any excitable animals are calmed in ways that suit the pet and owner. This is specifically aimed at dog owners but can also apply to other excitable pets (e.g. Playful pets are totally fine and can result in the most candid of pet photos, but if your pet has the "zoomies" there's nothing I can do.
-FOR DOG SHOOTS SPECIFICALLY- unless photos are being done during a walk or for medical/age related reasons - please walk your dog/puppy before the shoot. This will help them calm down and make the shoot faster. As much as I love cuddling your dogs and puppies, dogs can be satisfied with cuddles for hours before they settle down.
-FOR WALK SHOOTS SPECIFICALLY - If you have requested we have a dog walk shoot, please inform me of the location and the postcode of the car park that I can use and where we will be starting the walk from. It is also useful to let me know if the car park has pay and display and is cash or card friendly (as is common with National Trust Sites like Llyn Idwal or Loggerheads). Please also make sure these locations are dog friendly.
----AFTER THE SHOOT: RECOMMENDATIONS----
- Photos can be supplied in JPEG or RAW format. Please let me know at the time of booking what format you wish to have the photos in if not both. JPEG is recommended for online sharing, such as social media. RAW is a lot larger and detailed and is therefore recommended if you want to print photos, especially on canvases.
- Your photos will be provided to you digitally (if opting for the standard package) anytime up to 3 working days after the shoot. Both edited and unedited. Please back up these photos responsibly.
----THE LEGAL BITS----
- In compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) - all unedited photos from the shoot will be kept for a maximum of 60 days from the day of the session. If the photos are lost within 60 days, the photos can be resupplied free of charge via an electric online format (e.g. Dropbox). Only the edited photos will be kept for the long term. If photos a requested AFTER 60 days, only the edited photos will be available.
- This is a non-refundable service. If on the day of the session, the weather or behaviour of your pet (or other circumstances) prevent photos from being taken or to an amount I'm unhappy with, you will only be charged for fuel. Photos from these sessions will still be provided to you. On each session, I try and aim for at least 50 usable photos.
