The Blossoms are out 😍

Wavertree Botanic Gardens is home to one of Liverpool’s most iconic spring displays, famously known as Cherry Blossom Lane. This 19th-century park features an abundant “run” of cherry trees that for a few weeks each year transform the park and create a stunning pink canopy over the footpaths.

Top Tip - Visit of a morning for a quieter experience!

Feeling privileged to have been invited to an evening event with Cheshire Light & Lens. The event will take place at 7.30 on the 17th February 2026 where will provide an overview of The Lazy Photographers Location Guides. I’ll provide an overview of where the idea arose. How I created the guides. The challenges of self-publishing starting a business, learning web design, SEO, digital marketing and of course the challenges of adapting my photography to supplement the guides.

You’d think the journey would be easy but there’s lots of challenges to navigate and it makes for an interesting story!

The beautiful Devoke Water 😍

It was far too windy for reflections but also too for a long exposure as the grass swirling in the wind would be blurry.

So this is a blend of a fast and longer shutter speed. I think it works well, love the soft clouds and milky water combined with the sharpness of the foreground rocks and grass.

But what do you think!?
