The support was Mick Hucknall's, The Frantic Elevators, who often played in Liverpool & at Brady's when it was called Eric's, as Roger Eagle was a big fan. Eric's was closed by the Police at the end of March 1980 and Brady's was it's replacement a few months later.

A big 60th Happy Birthday to Franny Griffiths, he & Tommy Scott have been in bands together since Hello Sunset in 1984, originally it was Tommy & I, he singing & guitar & I played bass who dreamed of being in a band, like everyone else who had been to Eric's, our friend Loza, joined & then Franny, I left and the line up, who actually recorded demos and played gigs in March 1985, was the line up above.
Tommy Scott vocals, Franny Griffiths keyboards, Ste Keenan bass, Paul (Loza) Lawson drums.

From an old print of Pete de Freitas of Echo & The Bunnymen, playing St George's Hall for their Crystal Day on Saturday 12th May 1984.
The photo is over 42 years old and Pete died 37 years ago in June 1989.
Scary how time has flown.
In the late 1970's & 1980's Liverpool was known for not having many drummers, Liverpool bands struggled to find good a good drummer, however Pete, Joe Musker, Gary Dwyer, Budgie & Chris Sharrock were amongst the best in the country. Only two of whom came from the City of Liverpool itself.
