Sometimes the best therapy is simply pressing pause 🌅

Watching the sunset at West Derby Golf Club was exactly the reset I needed. Just nature, fresh air, and a reminder that the simplest moments are often the most powerful.

Feeling incredibly lucky to have this beautiful place right on my doorstep… and even more grateful to see proper green grass again!

Next time I’ll definitely have to try the food Bistro 1896 - it smelt incredible!

Here’s to slowing down, appreciating the little things, and filling your cup!

Thank you, alone_imagery for sending me these absolutely stunning photos from Cornwall. It’s somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit, and these pictures have definitely moved it even higher up my bucket list!

Charming little towns, breathtaking countryside and the most incredible sunsets. It all looks so peaceful, and if you know me, you’ll know this is so my kind of place! (It’s very Kerry!)

When your day starts on a farm and ends in a rave at Bongo's Bingo 🎉

I’m that girl who loves every kind of adventure, from one extreme to the other, and this is the perfect example!

After a trip to Croxteth Park Farm (see last reel!) and a relaxing day we headed to town for my quarterly dose of Bongo’s Therapy, and what a night it was! Most of the group had never been before, so they had absolutely no idea what to expect 💃

It’s so hard not to enjoy Bongo’s. As you’ll see from the photos and videos, every single person was having the time of their lives. The vibes, the music and the dancing made it impossible not to get caught up in it all.

One of my favourite moments had to be my friend’s hubby getting on stage! Before the night started, he was adamant there was no chance he’d ever get on stage. Fast forward a couple of hours, and there he was, proudly dancing on stage with the Henry Hoover he’d just won!

It just proves that when you let go, step outside your comfort zone and embrace the moment, amazing memories are made.

I also absolutely love the new format with a rave at the beginning (as well as the middle and end!) It gets everyone buzzing and sets the vibe for the whole night. And my favourite part will always be the glow stick rave - it’s epic!

Did I win? Nope! But I’m still not sure what it would take for me to get up on that stage. Not even £1,000 would tempt me! Huge respect to every single person who does. That takes real confidence and guts, and I love seeing people just go for it.

Congratulations to everyone who won prizes, and a massive shout-out to all the entertainers who kept the energy sky high all night.

Thank you also to the security team and staff. In all the years I’ve been coming to Bongo’s, I’ve never witnessed any trouble, and every member of the team has always been welcoming and friendly.

If you’re looking for a night where you can laugh until your cheeks hurt, dance like nobody’s watching and make memories with your favourite people, then Bongo’s really is the place to be.

They completely blew me away. We were welcomed into a beautiful restaurant full of warmth, personality, and plenty of surprises, including a cinema room!

We were lucky to be invited to their launch, and I loved how the team were confident in what they’d created. Every member of staff was friendly, passionate and proud. You’d never have guessed this was their “practice makes perfect” night.

I love letting restaurants choose my meals, and they certainly didn’t disappoint.

We enjoyed tasty tostadas, cedar plank roasted salmon, smashed cucumber salad, cowboy buttered corn ribs and the South Coast watermelon salad. We also shared tater tots and the onion blossom, which complemented everything perfectly.

To drink, we tried sangria and fruit lemonades, and of course we couldn’t leave without sampling their famous frozen custard dessert with honeycomb, toffee fudge and butterscotch... because saying no simply wasn’t an option!

A favourite moment was being invited into the kitchen to see the smoke ovens and pitmasters in action. I’m not the best cook, so I have so much admiration for people who create food like this every day and I loved learning that everything is smoked in-house.

I asked the chef if the huge portions were just for launch night... apparently not! American-sized portions are on the menu every day!

Safe to say we left feeling Christmas Day full, complete with takeaway boxes!

We were also treated to a surprise Bourbon masterclass, learning about its history, the barrels and where that incredible smoky flavour comes from. Such a lovely touch.

I was very grateful to be given some of Hickory’s signature spices to take home too.

The outside is just as beautiful as the inside. Walking up the pebble path, I almost forgot I was in Liverpool. The quality of the furnishings and attention to detail, both inside and out, are exceptional.

🎄✨ Christmas in July? Go on then! ☀️🎅

My first Christmas party of the year has arrived a little early, and it felt like I’d been transported to Australia! Sunshine, sparkling Christmas decorations, festive cocktails and incredible food – what more could you ask for?

It was lovely catching up with so many familiar faces at the fabulous BOXPARK LIVERPOOL

The team really knows how to throw a Christmas party, and the food tasted even better than last year! There was a constant stream of delicious dishes making their way around the venue, but my standout favourites had to be the vegan burger (so good!) and the chocolate churros, which were the perfect sweet treat to end the night.

The entertainment kept the festive spirit alive all night with a fantastic live band and plenty of Christmas classics to get everyone in the mood.

With the gorgeous sunshine, most of us couldn’t resist staying out in the beer garden soaking up every last ray!

There was glitter, sequins, a quiz and festive fun everywhere... I even raided The Sequin Wardrobe for a few accessories and a bit of face glitter, and then had a ride in Santa’s sleigh! Safe to say I fully embraced Christmas in July 🎅🏻

Some places are worth the wait... ❤️

Back in lockdown, I drove past Ring O’ Bells Pub countless times, always thinking, “I really need to try that one day.” Well, I finally did, and it was everything I’d hoped for and more.

On a sunny Sunday afternoon, the pub was buzzing with families, friends, happy dogs and the loveliest atmosphere. We were lucky to have a table overlooking the terrace, with countryside views and the canal just beyond. It genuinely felt like a little holiday.

Lydia recommended the Beef Short Rib Scotch Egg, and wow... I can honestly say it’s the best Scotch egg I’ve ever eaten.

For mains, I chose the roast beef dinner, while Dad went for his favourite, beer battered fish and chips.

Can we just take a moment for the roast potatoes? I lost count after nine! They were perfectly crisp, fluffy in the middle and exactly how roasties should be. The beef was beautifully tender, the Yorkshire pudding was huge and Dad absolutely loved his fish and chips. I also have to mention how cute he looked in his little waistcoat and tie T-shirt.

Despite the generous portions, we couldn’t leave without sharing the warm Almond & Raspberry Bakewell with strawberry ripple cream, and it was the perfect ending.

After lunch, we wandered along the canal before admitting defeat to the heat and our very full stomachs!

A huge thank you to Think Liverpool 😎 and the wonderful team at Ring O’ Bells for such a lovely afternoon.

If you’re looking for generous portions, beautiful canalside views and a country pub that instantly feels like home, this one is absolutely worth the drive. Next time, Ocean is definitely coming too! 🐶❤️
