A phenomenal morning on the Nantlle Ridge on Wednesday. I regretted not taking any photos on my last visit here so had to return, and what a treat I received from Mama Earth 🥰 my absolute favourite conditions in the mountains are those when the clouds drift over and around the peaks, making everything look super atmospheric. It pays to be early birds for this kinda thing though, it was blue skies all around by 9am!

A snowy spring day in Wales last week 🥰 I'm not the biggest lover of snowy hikes because I don't deal with snow often enough! Took me way longer to summit than it should've and that changed my plan slightly but it was worth the uphill battle with clogged spikes for this photo alone - dreamy ❄️

Llyn Cau looking remarkably different to how I left it just 2 months ago 🥶 and the same could be said about the trail - discarded items of clothing were just left lying around everywhere. I carried down a couple items, along with an empty bag of sweets, but the message is clear - we have to take better care of our natural environments. If you carry it in, carry it out. Simple as that 🌞

P.s. if any photographers could recommend me a waterproof cover/setup for their camera, please let me know! I'm all ears after today 😆

An absolutely perfect day up Cadair Idris on Christmas Day with Alex - we well and truly got blown into 2026 😆 managed to catch a pretty sunrise in the valley before heading up the Minffordd path and through the frost to the icy summit 🏔 I'll be back on a less windy day to get some drone footage I think 🌞🌞🌞

Yr Wyddfa - Wales' tallest peak. This mountain has never been my favourite for the sheer number of visitors it gets every day, but after a random Tuesday adventure up the quieter side of its summit, I have come to realise that it deserves all the praise it gets. Not an ad, but this piece of kit deserves a post all of its own! For a solo hiker like me, the Garmin GPS67i is worth every penny. It has given me that extra boost of confidence in low visibility situations to keep on muddling through and to trust my skills and route planning ⛰️ not to mention the extra peace of mind for my parents knowing I have a way to communicate when up in the hills 🌞

Last weekend, my friend Matt and I headed for the Bannau Brycheiniog with the hopes of a wintery hike. Whilst the snow didn't quite deliver, the views sure did, and we spent the best half of the day adventuring around the grassy slopes of Soutb Wales. Blog now live in my bio 🥰

I was fortunate enough to have some time off work last week when the UK was experiencing a long period of high pressure, resulting in these epic cloud inversions 🥰 the mountains always teach me a lot of things, but when paired with this kind of weather it makes everything just that little bit extra special. Feeling grateful for the time spent and the conversations had with fellow hikers up on the peaks 🌞
