Revisited the Moelwyns a couple weeks back to bag the two peaks I missed when I first went in early Spring. I'm a sucker for a good little scramble, and the Craigysgafn ridge gave exactly that. The clouds in the morning were so low it felt like I had entered Jurassic Park, especially with a dead sheep marking the trail 😅, but they soon cleared up and left me with this wonderful view of the reservoir. Best part about it is that I didn't see a single person on the trail 😆🌞

If you scroll a little further down you'll see a slightly different view of this same lake, albeit with the mountains covered in snow!

And just like that, it's been two weeks since I summitted Mt Toubkal ... one day the world looks like scree and rock, and the next it's back to paving slabs and computer screens. Blink and you'll miss it - I'm working on living life in the in-between phase 🌞🥰⛰️ I'll have a post up on the blog at some point for anyone who is interested in tackling this beast next summer season 🥰

Never will I ever grow tired of how these places make me feel 🥰 this loop was rough in the heatwave, hitting just over 20km in a circular from Pike O' Blisco through to Rossett Pike, and then back down via Mickleden to the car. As always, though, it was worth every second 🌞⛰️⛅️ and served as a great warm up before my trek up Toubkal a few days later 😶‍🌫️

I think this one is up there as one of the prettiest spots to take a dip in the whole of Eryri - just look at that view of Yr Wyddfa 🤩 only downside is the horseflies! 😅

Can you believe this is part of the same quarry as my last post? 🌞 I got lucky with my timings I think, with the sun just creeping over the horizon like it was and creating this magical glow down in the basin itself. The birds were singing (I even encounted a heron!), the air was warm and for a brief moment, it was just me and the serenity of nature. I honestly don't think you can get much better than that 🥰

Feeling like I went to space this morning, frolicking about in an old slate quarry 🌔 there are plenty of cool places like this dotted all throughout Wales, it's just knowing where to look - and I want to help you guys with that! 🌞 I've been toying with the idea of creating a guidebook that would give you all the inside info on some of my favourite hikes and adventure spots throughout Eryri ... let me know in the comments if this is something you would be interested in 🥰

Llanddwyn Island - a little slice of paradise, especially at sunset. The water is crystal clear, the sunlight is golden, and the sound of birds carries on the breeze. I wanted to stay here till the Sun dipped below the horizon, but after a long day out travelling to and from St Dyfnogs Well, I called it a night and started the long drive home around 9pm. After all, I had to get back for work in the morning! What a magical little place, definitely one to return to 🥰🏝

Currently in the midst of a heatwave that we are notoriously very bad for managing with this country's infrastructure, but hidden gems like this make everything feel a little more bearable. The water in this well was freezing cold, but so refreshing in the middle of 40° temperatures 😬🌞🥰 it was a busy little place too! I was super lucky to get five minutes to myself to get this shot. Does anyone know where this is? 👀
