Spent last week on the floor at IMC21 covering Hitachi's stand, three days of demos, interviews and a booth that never really stopped moving.

We filmed the team walking through the new SU9600 SEM, sat in on presentations with two cameras running at once, and grabbed the quieter moments in between too, the photos with the crew, the setup, the bit right before someone steps in front of the lens and has to remember not to look at it.

Three days at ACC Liverpool filming for Hitachi at IMC21.
The International Microscopy Congress runs once every four years and has done since 1954. The field calls it the Olympics of Microscopy. This year it's on our doorstep, on the Liverpool waterfront, with researchers flying in from all over the world.
Fast schedule, serious kit, a lot of new faces. Our favourite kind of job.

Client, friend, and - since I moved here - my own dentist. 🎬

Squeezed in a shoot on Tuesday, just before heading off to Malta, with Dr. Bogdan Banica at Easy Dental Liverpool . I started out filming promo content for his practice, and somewhere along the way he became the person I trust with my own teeth too. Not many clients get to say that.

We were back in front of the camera putting together some new promo videos for Easy Dental Liverpool , and it barely felt like work. Good conversation, easy company, and a lot of trust built up over the time we've worked together.

Grateful for clients who become friends, and friends who happen to be brilliant at what they do. More from this shoot soon.

That view never gets old. ✈️

30,000ft over Valletta and Malta's Grand Harbour - back on the island for a two-day shoot.

Malta's become a regular stop for us now, and we love that. Being a UK-based crew doesn't mean staying UK-only - we get to bring that experience out here and work with brilliant clients on this side of the Mediterranean too.

🎬 "It doesn't just work for us - it works at the level of a broadcaster."

That's Kofi Ohene-Djan, Head of Marketing at Liverpool's Royal Court, talking about working with us - and we couldn't be prouder.

Over the years we've filmed trailers, show footage and social content for the Royal Court, delivered in whatever format they need: landscape for the website, square for social, portrait for phones.

What Kofi pointed out is the part we love most about this job - the variety. One day we're interviewing cast and creatives for a trailer, the next we're filming vox pops with school children on an educational visit. And more than once, footage we've shot for the Royal Court has been good enough for broadcasters to use.

Different people, different spaces, different briefs - we flex to fit all of it.

When what you're selling is the finish, an AI render is no use. It shows what the artwork was supposed to look like, not what the machine actually made. Photographs are proof.
