Postcards from camp
Long before all the bright lights of Croke park and raised hands, camp is tough for fighters.
Itโs not the glitz and glamour of fight nights, itโs the lonely mornings, not wanting to get out of bed after a long week in the gym. Pushing your body through barriers you didnโt know where there. Sacrificing friends and families birthdays. Itโs remembering loved ones who are no longer here on their anniversaries in the middle of camp, but still getting that run in whilst the memories are flooding through your head
Itโs the 2 hour drive to Doncaster, followed by brutal rounds with a young, hungry fighter. Itโs the drive to Chester on a Sunday to drag your body through the last tough S&C session of camp.
This is where the fight night version is shaped.
