For the 10th year running here is a little review of my past year in pictures. The 2021 gphotography advent calendar day 25 -
Empty Welsh cottages & even mansions are two a penny! On occasion something different & really special pricks my interest. A few years ago I noticed a photo on the www of an old organ hidden away from the outside world & frozen on time. Soon after seeing that one photo it disappeared from the net. After reading the text that accompanied that photo I spent far too long researching for what became my holy grail! After putting a pin in my map to highlight where I thought the holy grail sat I headed off on my search. Parking up on a lay by I walked back along the main road. Hidden behind a 20ft high hedge sat a little tin sheeted Sunday school. The front door was locked so I fought my way around the back of the building where I looked through the first of the 3 little windows whilst holding my breath. What did I find inside, non other than the holy grail that I was looking for! A one in a lifetime find just a couple of meters from a main road that 1000's of people pass every day.

For the 10th year running here is a little review of my past year in pictures. The 2021 gphotography advent calendar day 24 -
For the second year in a row the music didn't play for most of it! However I managed to catch up with one of the best live bands you can ever wish to see Scarlet Rebels live in Swansea. The Rebels & I go back a longtime, a very longtime. We have travelled all over the place through the years including an unforgettable trip to the SxSW in Texas. If you've not seen the Rebels live then you're missing out. Lookout for the Rebels in 2022 when they bring their new album See Through Blue to the world! Here you see Rebels front man the one & only Wayne Doyle doing what he does best.

For the 10th year running here is a little review of my past year in pictures. The 2021 gphotography advent calendar day 23 -
When I bought my dream car a Saab 900 Turbo Aero little did I know what I was getting in to. Owning a classic car like a Saab is not just a driving experience it's also gives you the chance to mix with like-minded people who own & have an interest in classic cars. One of the events that I'm a regular at is the annual Sabbfest. It's a yearly meeting of the Saab owners club who this year met at the amazing Prescott hill climb. As the photographer for the event I arrived the night before & while the track was empty took the liberty to grab a quick photo of my Saab on the start line.

For the 10th year running here is a little review of my past year in pictures. The 2021 gphotography advent calendar day 22 -
I've said it before & I'll say it again & no doubt will through 2022, I do like a good forgotten church! One of the many lost & forgotten churches that I've visited in 2021 was this nearly engulfed example as seen from my drone. I wandered around the grave yard shoulder high in bushes not knowing what I'd have under my feet. After heading around the back I noticed that the vestry door was wide open so I ventured in to take a few photos. A couple of weeks later fellow photographer Gary Shinner paid a visit to the same church only to find the church fully locked!

Occassionally the ball of light will pop up in the most unusual of places in Llanelli! Nobody knows where or when it might be next!!!
