They came to the session with surfboards, ready to get in the water and have some fun. So that’s what we did.

We built the session around the sea, the boards, and just being together doing something they love.

Family photos don’t all have to look the same. They don’t have to be perfectly posed or feel like anyone else’s. They should feel like your life, as it is right now.

And that’s what made this one feel so special.
It had their life in it.

Sometimes I think photographs are less about now and more about later. About keeping a piece of the days that don’t stay the same for long.

Such a beautiful family. They were honestly so lovely to spend time with. The whole session felt so relaxed and full of little moments. She loved playing with the flowers and it made the sweetest photos.

Not every photo needs to show everything.
The wider shots tell the story, but I think the closer shots are such an important part of your gallery too.

They’re the ones that make you feel something.
