Feeling proud that I have finally shared my last wedding of the year with this amazing couple and received such lovely feedback. It took place back in October during storm Alex with gale force winds and torrential rain ☔️🌈 🌬

Neither the pandemic or the weather could dampen this couple’s spirits. The beautiful Bride is a Sister on a ward in a hospital and every day is putting other people’s health and well-being first, whilst her own life has been put at risk by just showing up for work. Despite no dancing or DJ being allowed I was able to capture some special memories for them to treasure for the rest of their lives together.

During these extremely challenging times please can I ask you to show them some love 💕🌈📸

All plans many of us had made for this year were put on hold so you can imagine how absolutely thrilled I was to hear that this special couple are now expecting their rainbow baby. To celebrate their wonderful news we met up again in the beautiful sunshine.

I met this amazing couple at the start of this year when they booked me to be their wedding photographer. Not long afterwards 2020 decided it was going to throw us all a curveball and for many of us life was put on hold during an agonising period of uncertainty. All plans many of us had made for this year were put on hold so you can imagine how absolutely thrilled I was to hear that this special couple are now expecting their rainbow baby. To celebrate their wonderful news we met up again in the beautiful sunshine. It was my honour and indeed a privelege to be able to capture these memories for them to treasure 📸🌈💝

Wow what a year! To all my friends and fellow small business owners, I hope you’re staying safe and managing to keep relatively sane.

If this is one of my last photoshoots of 2020 I’ll be extremely sad but if that’s what it takes to keep my loved ones safe I’ll accept this as fate.

It’s not quite been the year any of us were expecting. I’ve had some highs and lows working with brides and grooms having to reschedule or postpone until next year has been challenging to say the least.

On the flip side of this I absolutely love hearing about your proposals - this lovely couple got engaged during lockdown and were amazing to work with. I’m very excited they have chosen me to photograph their wedding next year.

Despite everything 2020 has thrown at us, celebrations of love are still happening where we live! COVID-19 may have changed the world as we know it and brought life to a temporary stand still. Some plans we have made may need to be put on pause but the virus is not equipped to stop the inseparable love one human being can have for another.

I’m extremely honoured and proud to be able to capture and document your momentous occasions with such powerful emotions during these uncertain times.

After the storm look for a rainbow 🌈 I’m delighted to be back out there doing what I love best, capturing people’s celebrations with my camera is what I live for! Intimate weddings may be here to stay for a while but you can still rock the dress and get married in style & have your photos on top of a hillside like a scene from gone with the wind.
