Suspected Dog Attack between and in

We were contacted today regarding a suspected on between Meidrim and Trelech

The owners told us that it has been reported to the police, however the police are not attending the farmland where it happened SA336TD
The owners do have a crime reference, but the sheep keepers are more concerned about it happening again.
The sheep are more than just livestock to us as they all had names and were pets.

The owners have lost five to six sheep including a lamb that can't be located.
We were told, that they have never had anything like this happen to them before and it's heartbreaking to find the sheep in this condition, with lots of the fleece ripped out and dead sheep laying about after something had clearly chased them to death.

The sheep keepers are appealing to anyone who has information about the suspected dogs that did the attacks in that area.

Or if any other local farmers have had dog attacks on there land .

It could be the same culprits 🐾🐕‍🦺🐑🐏

Carmarthenshire Hunt's "New Year's Day meeting in Carmarthen

There was a big turnout in Carmarthen, to see the historical meeting of the Carmarthenshire Hunt, that takes place in Carmarthen Town on New Year's Day, it's been going on for many years.

There was a lot of support from the community and there was also a small protests against foxhunting, protesters had made a number of different banners against foxhunting .

It was a well attended event as you will see from the photos

The horses and hounds looked fantastic along with the riders.
