I was hopeful yesterday of some lightning up on the Panorama, unfortunately the storm passed behind me. There is the possibility of more today so fingers crossed.

I had hoped on our trip to see some Red dear, it went down to the wire and on the last day on one of the remotest drives down an incredible valley I spotted a herd of Deer in the distance. After a short walk I managed to get some lovely shots of the group including the main Stag pictured here with his new set of antlers covered in velvet. A lovely few minutes before they went on there way.

Well we are finally home after a fantastic holiday in Scotland, so many photos to look through over the coming days, I took this one on our last day before heading back.

Just outside of the town of Fort William, lying majestically amongst shingle and sand is the Corpach shipwreck. This great fishing vessel rests on Caol Beach, overlooked by Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in the whole of the United Kingdom, the “Golden Harvest” makes a great spot for a photograph and a walk, I can’t believe it’s been 25 years since I last walked up “The Ben”

I’ve waited a long time to get a photo of a Badger, this little chap was very shy and sniffing the air before finally emerging from the undergrowth. I was waiting across a little road for him where there was an obvious track next to a tree I was hiding behind, he ran across the road and past me pausing 3 feet away to look at me for several seconds and then scuttled away, it was a wonderful experience
